Odd is, that phone number is a relay # for a guy in Houston that JUST replied to my listing on Craigslist.  Needless to say, I am not doing business in Texas but selling locally in Illinois.  He replied to my listing with the following info required to send me a certified draft.

name, address, cell phone number.

Yep, I did not reply and will only sell locally.  Might want to beware!

This is a craigslist scammer!

I was trying to sell on CL and received an email from this person.  Here is a copy of her email.
She is going by the name of Valeria Jones, her email used is nawamen@gmail.com.

Thank you for the response, I will be sending a Certified Draft which
is generally acceptable to cover the cost  as am completely
interested. I will need the details below of whom & where to mail the
payment;

1.Name to be on the check
2.Home or office address
3.Cellphone number

Please note that Courier Service do not deliver to P.O Box. However,
my mover will
pick up the item right after the payment as been delivered. Kindly
delete the posting as am committed to buying it. I recently move here
on a job transfer and it's a great buy. Here is my relay #

I posted a pair of very large, heavy glass doored bookshelves on CraigsList, & said right in the ad that they were very heavy, need several people to pick them up, MUST provide local phone number, etc.
Recieved first email asking, "Is this still available?" first clue, a pair is not a "this." Next clue, no locan anything or genuine expression of interst, such as a real question about the items for sale. I responded with a simple request for a local phone number,"as requested in the ad."
What I recieved in the responding email wazs exactly as what all of the prior people described. I responded with an email telling "Anna Bell" that there would be no reason for me to provide such personal information, & that her request for info was such a stupidly blatant attempt to get anyone to respond, I can't imagina ANYBODY giving her what she wanted, & suggested that she need to go to church & get a conscience, learn to do some good, or get off the planet. Didn't recieve any response back...Gee, why not?

I got the same email from "mary" and it is definitely a scam
