I got a phone call from this number and a woman was on the other line. In the beginning, there was a long beep before she could asked me if I were over 25 years old.  When I said no, she hung up on me. I called the number back but I just got a generic answering machine message. Stupid marketers!

I got a call from this number and as i try calling back i only get a generic message.dont know why.My number is a recent one and the only place i have given to is  a bank.damn

This number called me last night at midnight! And I live on the west coast. The caller ID says xploretech

I called it back and it said something about a reservation center ????  Not sure scm artists

i got a mysterious call from this number asking for the owner of the phone. i said stupidly this is him and she started going into this speil. i really couldn't here cause i was in the middle of my bowling league so i hung up. i get to work and check my account balance online and i have this freaking charge fr 39 on my account for a company called web profit coach. i have never in my life heard of this company. i swear on my dead mothers grave that i never ever gave this person any info. i hung up on her right when was getting started on speil. they somehow managed to get my card info. don't know how but they did and i'm pissed. i googled this company. there is a plethora of freaking complains for unaurthorized  charges. ranging from 1.97 to 74.99. be careful don't pick up the phone if you do not recognize the number. if they know you then they will leave a message for you to call them back. didn't think it would ever happen to me but it did.

Probably just a number from a call center trying to sell time shares in Texas where they  are 3 hours behind us.  When it is 9 here, it is 6 there.  They should get it together amd if they are going to make those annoying telemarketing calls, make them 1 & 3 P.M. their hours.  No later than that.  Can someone with half a brain in their state recommend that to them???  THEIR GOVRENOR, THEIR MAYOR, THE FCC  OR POSSIBLY EVEN LET GOOD OLD OBAMA STEP IN AND CONTROL THESE TIME ZONES!!!!!????

I got a call from this number at 9pm my time...and I live in TX. When I called back, I got a message about some reservation center. It transferred to someone, and they hung up the phone. I'm gonna have to check my bill pretty thoroughly to make sure i dont get any extra charges from this.

They called me offering 2 airline tickets, They tell u there opening a new store in ur area something like global travel. I Just told the lady no Thank u i hope They stop calling

Similar experience to a few recent callers.  I used a polite tone at all times, even pleasant words near end, but I did not participate in her scripted questions.  (Normally I don't take calls from unknown callers, but I was expecting calls today.)  

Without identifying her company or her name, a woman on the phone asked if I was the owner of the phone -- I never answered directly.  I ask who was calling and she went into script including something about flying and 'you fly Southwest, don't you?' (approximate).  Without answering, I asked again why she/they had my number, and she gave a vague, scripted, non-answer reply about 'some numbers from such and such (don't remember what she said, but it was vague), some are referrals from friends.'  Early in call she seemed to say name of specific town near where I am.  She also seemed to say my first name!  But it was hard to converse with her, as she didn't really want to answer my questions and instead she tried repeatedly to go back to spiel.  It sounded sketchy to me.  

__How can I find out from whom they got my number (and perhaps name?)?  And how can I stop it from being given to marketers in the future?

I got a call from this number tonight, didnt ansewer i hope we dont get a charge, i will sue the [***] out of these people if we do

"Toni" called two of my cell phones. Makes me think they have been compromised, or this place is using a number generator software.

If any of you posted recent ads on Craigslist, she seems to be getting a lot of her numbers from there, mine included.
I read on a different site testimonials from other various people she's called and almost all of them admitted to recently posting an ad on Craigslist right before she began calling.
She told me she was with the owners of American Airlines (or was, I couldn't understand her well), and then continued on to offer me a free ticket package to my choice of Reno, Las Vegas, Orlando, Mexico or places in California.
She's called me 3 times tonight and says she's going to call back again tomorrow.

I received a phone call from this number as well.  I did not pick it up.  I did post an ad on Craigslist two weeks ago, but I used a combination of digits and spelled-out numbers for  my phone number.  I guess that strategy didn't work.  I will also be looking at my phone bill very carefully to make certain there are no strange charges due to this scammer.

Got a call (no msg/VM) from this number last night at 9:09 pm while I was at work. Isn't there a law that says they can't disturb you after 9 pm or the company can be sued for up to $500?? I thought I heard that somewhere and will most definitely be looking into that further. I also just tried them back and I got a generic msg saying "please hold for the next available operator" or something like that. I held on the line to get another msg (a female speaking) saying to "leave my full name and phone number and they will get back to me". I'm not stupid; I didn't leave that msg.

I posted an ad on craigslist, got the call, didn't answer, no voicemail. They called twice. I didn't call back

this phone number is from Houston Texas.  maybe if we search craigslist for help wanted might be successful in finding the actual working phone number.  then bombard them with calls selling day old pizza, or asking for contributions to the Church of Whats Happening now... the reverend John F Moley... Holey Moley for short
