Wanted checking account # without sending statement

Got a call at 9:51am from "Samantha Beck" at "United Recovery Systems" urging me to call her back at (866) 582-4085 x9290. She claims to be a "debt collector." A BOGUS DEBT COLLECTOR!!! No other info, no other names. She seems to be PHISHING. This is IDENTITY THEFT and is FRAUD and EXTORTION. Anyone wanna go in on a class-action lawsuit??? Already contacted the BBB to document. Now onto the CFPB, the FTC, the FBI and ATTORNEY GENERAL

Man calls does not reveal the nature of why he is calling - just keeps asking questions- very suspicious

Got a call, called me Ashley which is what a lot of people mistake my name for as it is similar. Said I had a debt with CitiBank and Best Buy on a credit card for 3,000+. Said it was probably an oversight but that they could clear it up if I could just go get my check book. When I said you're lying, and my name isn't Ashley, threw him all off guard and he kept saying "but when I asked if your name was Ashley you said yes". I explained to him that many people who don't know me call me that, but I answer to it as I don't like correcting people all the time. I ended up just hanging up on him, but don't like jerks like this rip you off. Also, if it's a credit card issue, why do they need your checkbook? Be smart and be safe!!

This # has called 2x looking for me but they are calling my parents house. if they have a problem they should be calling me directly not my parents I think this is invading privacy by calling family members

keep getting hang up calls from this number no one answers if we pick up just hang up

Good for you! I've blocked several versions of this nimber!! I don't owe anyone a cent, but I repeatedly get these calls!

832-476-0437 called and asked for acct for which I did not have or Social Security is for my husband and myself

Got a call this morning at 9:30. Some male caller who supposedly was looking for my Grand Daughter, and wanted to know if she was related to me. I told him that I didn't know who they were, and had no requirement to talk to them further. Will block this number immediately.

Caller asked for a name I did not recognize. I said I do not know them. They apologized for bothering me.

am interested n a class action suit .. as have been getting phone calls from India (this number among them) for about 5 years.. don't
answer phone, but he keeps calling!!!!!!

I have also been getting calls from 832-476-0437 saying I have an outstanding debt of 2,000 with Citi Bank,,,I HAVE NEVER HAD A CITI BANK CREDIT CARD !!!!

This number called my husband's EX-wife (divorced for 32 years, BTW) and wanted to collect a debt - SERIOUSLY???  I DO NOT KNOW THEM AND DO NOT OWE THEM ANY MONEY!
