I have received several calls from this number and would like to know who is calling.

Caller said they represented a US Government program and wanted to do an audit - free to me.  I asked if she worked for the US Government, she said no she was a call center hired to do a survey.  She then asked about utility bills and said mine should be less.   At that point I said I was on the do not call list, and someone was planning to make money as a result of this call. She replied it is not me (her). Then she said I understand you are on the do not call list and thanked me for my time.
I called back to get the name of the company and got the same pitch. Someone is profiting from this, but the callers don't know the bigger picture.

No lie...I received 5 phone calls from this number between 2:43 and 2:52 pm.  5 calls in 9 minutes!  I answered the 5th call...they asked for me by name.  I asked who was calling and was told "I'm Nadia from the Energy Conservation Project".  I told her I was  on the Do Not Call list and not to call again.  It's now 2:57 and I've gone 4 minutes without a call from them.

Getting calls from this number as I'm typing this.  The 4th call in 5 minutes.  I'm letting it ring, maybe they'll soon get the message that I'm, either, not interested or not home... hee comes the 6th call!!!

Just received 5 calls from this number from 4:46 to 5:00pm! I didn't answer either.

I called the Public Utility Commission. The Energy Conservation Program is a legit program mandated in the state of Texas.

Received 8 calls in 8 minutes on my cell phone. I am at work! Do not appreciate getting back to back phone calls. If someone does not answer the freaking phone, either leave a message or stop calling!

Just got 4 calls in the past hour!

I recieved a telephone call from a female from 832-608-6040 yesterday.  She asked for my name and confirmed my address too.  She asked about amounts paid for utility bills, (light and gas) and said that Texas has a grant that could help out with energy type repairs and replacements, such as insulation, AC units, windows etc..  Sounds too good to be true I said, and she said that it would not cost me anything, but an auditor would have to come by and meet with us.  I decided to try this as I could use some additional insulation and or a new AC unit would be nice.  I scheduled an appointment for Thursday, today, March 14, 2013.... but NO ONE showed up.... I guess the joke is on me.  Thanks for posting other comments.  I just received one call, or maybe it was the first of many if I had not answered.  Who Knows?  At least now I know it was most likely a scammer or call center caller.  Thanks again.
