This time he said his name was David Boyer and that he was working for Martin Pycroft.  Why would he want to rent my house in Silver City NM?  It's a small town and everybody knows where the engineering jobs are.  There aren't any! Nice try.

I have had the same person contact me via craig's list email only. Same exact letter as posted below.  Thank God I did not give him even the address.

This is an scram from the craigtlist.com, I have the same emai that David Boyer want to rent my house in VA. Have a rental in California and received an email about the same as all of you. He gave the name of TERRY MARCUS. Date 06-04-09. He need to go to jall.

I didn't get a call I got an e-mail. Same as all the others listed. Response to a rental. Seems he chose the LOW ROAD. Thanks to all for reporting. Saved me from entertaining him another minute. "GO SIT IN THE CORNER, 'David Clark'.

This jerk doesn't know it yet, but he is being reported to the authorities as we speak.  Some people are real sicko's, and it doesn't say much for Google to keep giving this jerk additional e-mail accounts under all his fictitious names.  Now he is using Brian Keane and his letter is word for word.  Just want to thank all of your previous people for documenting this ridiculous excuse for a human being.  He didn't include a phone no on my reply, so I guess he doesn't want to be caught for harrassing phone charges.

Now he's Ben Shuster.  Just got an email yesterday in response to my ad on Craigslist.  Same thing about working with Wessex and using David Richards as a reference.  You'd think he'd make up a different story by now!

We received same letter for a rental in Vermont but the phone number was (+44)7023043976.

Now he is David Clark moving to Santa Fe. Same old song and dance.  Also sounds like the person who tried to scam my daughter with a babysitting gig.
He has trouble with the English language, possibly Nigerian?

Hey we got the same email.  But you are all wrong ...today his name is Norman Paddock and he has a job with Black and Veatch in California.  It is curious that the rental we have is a long way from the B & V office.  Maybe he just likes a long drive on the Los Angeles freeways.   Besides, with a nice name like that how could he possibly be a scam artist?   Ya right.  Thanks to everyone for posting about this worm.

We have home in PA, and advertised in craigslist, and this is what I rcvd: and recd a check for $6500.

had an email from this guy.....about renting my house. totally bogus. called the Fed Trade commission and reported it. They said that if enough people reproted it then, they would research this guy from wessex and black and veatch, his so called companies hs works for. Please go to Indy.BBB.org and file complaints about this so we can try and stop it. A friend lost almost 8,000 from this scam.!

He is now going by the name of Dave Clarke.  The rest is the same.  Thank Goodness for this web site.  It came up during my search for Wessex Survey & Design.  Too bad some people have nothing better to do but come up with ways to hurt and destroy others.
