In the last few days my phone has wrung several times with no message left.  Each time this number was recorded via *69:  843-215-5293

I am on every Do Not Call list available and have been for many years, with appropriate renewals.

I live in Tacoma WA.
Receiving daily calls from this number with no message being left on answering machine. Caller ID shows Mike Parrotta.  
I don't know if the name is real, but I know the story they tell when I answer is not real. I am registered with donotcall.gov and have asked this caller to stop calling.
When speaking, I hear other callers in the background similar to a call center. The person claims to be from the local fire dept. After questioning, it turns out that he is gathering money for a S.Carolina Fire Dept.  Then after being told that I have previously checked with the department he is referring to and they don't know him, he re-corrects the story referencing a local community drive.
What the guy wants is to record your voice reading off your c-card number, a verification of your address, and a recording of your voice saying "yes".  - I'm all for helping the police & fire dept, but this guy is a scam. - Don't fall for it, Report It.

Received a rude, pushy call from this phone number saying he was "Marvin Booth" with "Community Welfare" something or other. Kept asking for the owner's name and hung up when I wouldn't give it and asked him his purpose in phoning.

Mike Parrotta just called my house.  Didnt answer it, i let it ring, but, he didnt leave a message.  Googled his name.  Lives in myrtle beach south carolina and he is linked to the fire department.  They have no right calling our landline and asking for donations.  They should NOT BE ALLOWED to do that.  It happens to me all the time and something has to be done.  If it wasnt for my caller id on my phone i would of answered it.  From now on, if i get any more phone calls like that im going straight to the police.  That is "Soliciting" and im not going to allow it.  People should be ashamed of themselves calling and asking for donations. If we can not solicit around town, they, shouldnt be allowed to do it either. I am even on THE DO NOT CALL LIST.  They still call.

Our fireman need a new kitchen. Our steaks burn every night. Also we need a new big screen. It awful watching a movie on a 52 inch. Too small. Please donate.
