Threatened to serve me at my office with papers

I work for a debt negotiation company and had provided Power of Attorney documents for my client to several third party debt collectors. Today I received a vmail from Eric Stone saying he was a process server in Dallas County, Texas and would be serving my client at home and work for fraud charges. The message went on to say that if the client would like more info or to contest the charges to call 1-844-273-0503 referencing a case number (eg AAA-1111) that does not follow recognized case number format (year-court-casenumber). Anyway I called the number and spoke with Christa and advised that it is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act to threaten an action and not to follow through. She hung up!

I don't believe this is phishing because they called our company directly at an out of state number, they referenced a real client name who actually lives in Dallas County, Texas. That would be too coincidental for a phisher......I will be providing this info and the sound file of the original voicemail to the CFPB.

This person has threatened me with charges with four different names.  they keep calling.
