Caller left a robot voice claiming to be my attorney for an IRS investigation.  Sounds like a scan to me.

These people with an accent call me telling me that they were with IRS and i owed 4000.00 and i had to pay 1000.00 now or an arresting sherrif would come and arrest me serve me papers. I

Yet another fake IRS scam. Uses computer generated voice, probably to hide the accent. India feds just (10/4/2016) busted a call center in Mumbai with 750 employees doing exactly this.

JUST got a call from these people telling me I filed tax fraud I looked this number up and found out they were lieing what a bunch of liers someone needs to stop them and they said they were sending the police to my house

Said I owe IRS a bunch of money if I don't pay a warrant would be issued when asked for his name would not give it.

Caller left a robot message claiming to be an officer for the IRS and that he was investigating my taxes.

I'm sick in tired of receiving these stupid people calling and harassing me and scaring me for no reason. same robot named Robert left me a voicemail. saying he is officer Robert from the irs. please stop and get a life.

on April 7, 2017 received a call from 844-286-6032. Answered the call and it was a robo-call with the message I must get in touch with an Edward because I was up for tax-fraud.  If I did not return the call it would be taken as an evasion and I would be prosecuted.  Called back immediately and got a person with an accent and a VERY sketchy story--loud noises, asking for my name etc.  Hung up and googled.

I received a VM from this # claiming that the rest an investigation from the IRS. It was also a robotic voice that left the message.

I too received a VM from this number stating there was an investigation from the IRS.  These people called stating I was going to get my license taken and cops were coming to my home.

Caller said he was with the IRS Officer Robert Edwin (A recorded message)

Person with  accent called.. Did not talk to them..IRS  does not call you

I got a call from this number claiming to be from the IRS. They asked me to pay else the police will come and arrest me. When I asked how to pay they said by buying TARGET vouchers. That's when I realized it was a spam. The problem is how do they benefit from this spam worse yet, in order to confirm to me that they were from the IRS they called me back from a looking legit IRS number.8005553453. I don't know how they managed to impersonate this number.
P.S. all of them sounded Indian or at least had Indian accent
