IRS scam-this is not the real IRS

Hello Mary, how are things going? I received a telephone call today from (844)406-9362 indicating that they were the IRS. Not questioning your judgment, I just want to be certain that this is TRULY A SCAM and NOT the IRS. I did not call them back because I wanted to conduct a little research first. Thanks for heads up!!!!

This is a scam!!!!!!! Do not call the telephone number back!!!! They will attempt to threaten you with going to the police and getting an arrest warrant. Do not worry, it's all a scam!!! Unless you specifically instruct the irs to call you, they will only contact you via the mail.

Total Scam - call left a message that the IRS is going to put out an arrest warrant for me for fraud...    The IRS never calls people - you would be contacted by mail.  Major Scam! Do not reply to this #

I received a message tonight from this number and it scared me half to death...
do not respond to this number..I know it's a scam because I haven't even filed my taxes yet... I hope somebody does something about this...
They said they had an arrest warrant out for me for Freud... I recently was hospitalized for a mini-stroke this one almost gave me a full-blown stroke.......
please somebody do something about this spam..

I received a call today from the number 844-406-9362.  Is this really a scam or should I be calling back?

Received call from "IRS" threatening me with an arrest.

Total scam. Claiming to have an arrest warrant for arrest due to fraudulent activities against the IRS.

I called them back and told them in no uncertain terms to go [***] themselves.  They didn't like that and got piss.  I felt I had proven my point and hung up.  Nobody has tried to call me back.
