I got a message from this number today saying that they were the IRS calling about a lawsuit being filed against me. I called back and the phone rang about 10 times before a man with a thick accent (Maybe Eastern European) answered, "IRS, may I help you?" I said I had gotten a message and he asked my name. He then proceeded to say that the call was being recorded and if the call was disconnected on either his or my end there would be a warrant issued for my arrest and the Sherriff would come to my home to arrest me and seize my bank accounts and property. I asked him several times to speak slowly because his accent made it hard to understand what he was saying. I finally got that he was telling me that I owed taxes from 2009-2013 in the amount of $4900. He asked if I had falsified my taxes or if this was a mistake. When I began to question how I could verify if this was really the IRS, he quickly said the Sherriff was coming to arrest me and disconnected the call. Big time scam.

Got call 2 weeks ago from a white sounding woman saying she was the IRS and to call or the IRS will file a lawsuit against me.  I did not respond.  Today a white sounding man with a thick accent called and said the same thing.

I received the call from a computer generated voice "from officer at the IRS" stating a lawsuit was being filed against me and to call the number. So many things wrong with this starting with the IRS doesn't call, they mail things to you. But the scammers are trying harder by using computer generated voices instead of heavy accents!

Do not EVER respond to these bogus scams!!!!!!!!!!  I received one yesterday.....one of MANY MANY MANY.  It is so bogus.  I get refunds every year...haaaaahaaha.....this is ludicrous.  i have heard that these boneheads go so far as to have a "sheriff"  call back right after the first call saying they are on the way over to arrest you.  I just laugh at them.  One thing is...dont call back.  You never know where that number resides.  Sometimes you are calling out of country for Big Bucks.  Nonononono.

A recorded message saying that they were the IRS and that they have been trying to get a hold of us. Called back the phone number no answer. I believe it is a scam .
