- Wanting Blissful SilenceGot SIX calls back-to-back from this number on my cellphone. It's [***] that Systems Mechanic's database has been compromised to hackers. I just put the number on a 'silent ring' and will never be bothered by these swine again. BTW - I never picked answered. Too bad they did not call my landline, I have a call blocker on that one!
- Caller: Don't Care
- mkrmomThey have called my landline at least 10 times today, claiming to be from my security software company. A quick check with Iolo proved my instincts correct. I've been ignoring the calls, picked up a few and did not say anything, at which time I was met by a very nasty yell of "Hello! Hello!" I spoke once and told them I knew they were fraudulent. Then, when I answered, "M****son Police Department, what is your emergency?" the idiot changed his voice and told me there was an accident with two people injured. That's when I called him a lying dumbf**k and hung up. Hmmmm. Haven't heard back.
- Caller: Pretends to be from Iolo and also from Microsoft
- FromTheOffice20151217: We are HOURS into a barrage of their "services".
The callcenter appears to be in Pakistan, based on interactions we've had with the "staff".
Feel free to ASSIST US in disabling their (criminal) cashflow by making a useless call. Be sure to call from a blocked number (VOIP service / etc.); faxes encouraged.
