This number called me few times one is last march 12 and today march 22 saying that if i didn't call back the lawyers will talk to me and wish me goodluck.

this is a scam. be careful.

Well I finally got a call from the "CRA tax collection office" or something like that. I just saw this on W5 last week, call centre from india scaming Canadians. They called on my work number. If I had more time, I would have stayed on the line to make fun of the caller.

Just had the same call 3/22 on my direct line at the office.

Just got a call from 844-749-9022 (CRA tax collection) while on the train. Same thing blah blah blah...callback soon...time sensitive...and good luck. Thankfully the train was to loud so I hung up.

my sister works in CRA and they never call. they communicate with mail if they needs to . this is scam. don't fall for that.

Just hung up on this number. He had a heavy accent and said he was from the Canada Revenue Agency. Anyone who gets a call from this number, I am sure it is a con to try to get money or information. This happened to me when I lived in Toronto.

I just got the exact same call on my answering machine (Toronto). Don't engage. It's a scam.

My Samsung Galaxy S7 immediately showed me it was SCAM OR FRAUD calling. I ignored. They left voicemail stating same b.s. the other ppl commenting here have said; urgent matter, talk to attorney, wished me good luck ... Hahahahaha

Pretty difficult to take this one seriously, even for a second.  Nice try though...

Got the call about nine hours ago, went to voice message. Said something about lawyers and money, and good luck. Couldn't understand him. Suspected some Russian SOB trying scare me into sending him money. I don't trust 1-800 numbers these days anyways.

I got this call for the first time today on my cell.  same message as everyone's comment.   It sounds like a heavy middle eastern accent.  People! This is a scam.  I deal with CRA AND ALL OTHER GOVERNMENT agencies everyday at work.  And they never call.  I agree with the comment by "Helen".  They only write a letter and send via mail.  Please be careful and either block the number or don't answer.  Total scam.  Basically losers who have nothing else better to do in life and steal money from vulnerable innocent people.  Don't get fooled.

I'm the same person above. Another thing. It is not even CRA phone number.   They don't even talk professionally and even collection agencies for debt colleges are better communicators.

I've had a few calls from them. It's the CRA scam threatening legal action if you don't call them right back. I worry for seniors who can be frightened by these calls. I know the first one I got scared me...
