I just got one a few minutes ago, sait they are from Meyers Group to discuss a 'serious allegation" and gave a 'case number'

Got the same message.  Seems odd

I got the same message a few minutes ago.

I got the same call, and they said they have serious allegations to discuss.

I got a message form this number stating to call back. Called back - Meyers group stating there was a loan I took out and never paid back for $200.00. under my social . They really could not provide any info when I asked for documents in writing. Proceeded to tell me I could settle for 900plus dollars. They stated the loan was thru Chase. I don't even have a chase account.

They called me thrice. I'm a paramedic. Wow.

I got a call, left message that they are from Meyers Group to discuss a 'serious allegation" and gave a 'case number. I am not returning the call because I know there is nothing to discuss and it feels like a scam to me.

Has anyone acutally gotten papers served by these idiots? I have ignored the calls and stopped calling them back. I truly believe its a scam. If a company is serving papers I believe they would just send them vs. keep calling about them.

I got a phone call from them today stating the same "serious allegations" with a case number. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK. IT IS A SCAM. They cannot provide any useful information. The number does not even come up on Reverse Phone Lookup, which means it's a burner phone. Report to FCC and Local Police if they call more than once.

Just got a VM.  I like to walk these people through the whole process to see what they are going to ask. Do they have auto-dialers, caller id recognition, etc.  If you've called me, then I shouldn't have to provide you anything except a phone number. IF THAT.  

I hung up.  I get similar calls now from "foreign" numbers stating they are calling from Microsoft and getting error messages from my device. I work in IT so I played along and once I found out they were trying to get me to give them my ip address info, I stopped them and asked what kind of Microsoft errors are you getting and from what IP address?  They didn't hang up, but put me on mute and waited to see what I would do.
