I got a call from this number today, no caller ID. I did an Internet search and got this info from someone who posted on 800notes.com today:
"Got a call from a person stating that a law suit has been filed by the irs. When I told him to speak to my accountant he became agitated and told me to take care of it. I then informed him that I will have my accountant call him and he responded by saying have a blessed day and hung up. Definitely a scam."
I blocked 'em.

My daughter (a minor) received two calls approximately five hours apart on her cell phone from 844-854-5527 saying the IRS is bringing a law suit against her.  They were both recordings, and did not mention her name.  Suspicious because she rarely gives out her cell phone number and the IRS has bigger fish to fry than her meager, three-digit income!  Plus I think that if the IRS has a legitimate beef with her, they would snail mail something to that effect.  I did not call this number to figure out what the scam is.  I'm just going to ignore it.

'IRS Services' scam!!!!

I had message today 8/19/15 from this number like other post saying IRS is placing me in a law suit.  I knew before I called it was a scam, but called anyway and pretended to cry and ask why me...Guy swore at me with many Fing hammers and hung out.  I called the number 4 more times and told who ever answered to "F" off them selfs. I called a 5th time and asked who are you trying to rip off this time and they hung up again.  I didn't know the IRS hired that many over seas folks to work for them?

Call them back ask whom I talking to never got the name . They want me to pay. I said send me the bill. Scam

Got call on cell phone number was 844-854-5527 stating they are the irs when you call back they answer irs, why aren't these people put in jail they are use fraud.  I am reporting this to the irs
