i received an email today stating that I would be arrested if i did not pay a payday loan that I never took out. there are two amounts on the communication, one for 740.00 and the other for 6300.00. I looked the number that is on the email up on 1800notes phone comments and found that it is a fraud. the email was to the following address: richard.attorney@aol.com
who uses aol anymore anyway?  The email contained my social security number, employer. so I am forwarding to
my bank, PA banking commission, all the payday lenders listed in the email, my employer, and the FBI.

I would also report it to IC3. They deal with internet crime.  https://complaint.ic3.gov

I got the same letter yesterday in my email and reported it to everyone I can think of.  Make sure you put fraud alerts on all 3 credit bureau reports and fill out a fraud report with your local Attorney General's office.

Here is the email I received, I am sure it is just like yours. People do not call or reply to this email!!!

Company in order to notify you that after making calls to you on your phone number we were not able to get hold of you. So the accounts department of Cash Advance has decided to mark this case as a flat refusal and press legal charges against you.

I also received this same message on July 14th with the same case number cr59832. The caller was from a Richard Boyce but he was located in California. Thank you for message. I have been trying to investigate who this person was and if it was a scam.

yes he is a scam artist. I have reported him to many federal agencies,but the problem is that they move numbers by skyping them or voip them and so those that are trying to find them can not. that was explained to me by one of the DA's that i reported him to.

I got the same message but it was from California  the email was larawatsonloandedtcollector@outlook.com

Mine says attention  and my name is no where on the notice and i asked for a copy of the agreement   no reply but sme exact threat

Was he from hayward California ?
