I got a spam email also - offering a fake degree.

This is another similar scam. Send spams for pirated software from thousands web sites. You can find them by searching Google for;

3. Stock spam scam

Send spams for targeted listed companies in the hope that people receiving spams will buy the share, resulting in the sharp increase of share prices of the targeted companies. Companies targeted are normally very small listed companies so that small increase of demand can have bigger increase in share prices. Members of Unifiedmarket.com might be the arm of marketing!


4. Cyprus replica jewelry

Send spams for replca jewrly: watches, rings, etc.

5. Bogus university degrees

Send spams for bogus university degrees.

I am Jonathan Owens and used to work with Unified Market.

I am not a spammer.  My name and old company information (incomplete at that) have been used.

Who knows.

Either way, my father was actually called and threatened today by someone.

To whoever this was, if it happens again, the police will be called and you will be tracked down and prosecuted.

To Jonathan Owens: what exactly does Unified Market do? is this a SPAM front? YOUR FATHER owns Unified Market. I just looked it up out of curiosity since i too have been receiving horrible spam from canada pharmacy of late.

OK People:

Upset with John Owens?  I suggest that everyone who has a valid complaint put it in writing to the San Diego DA's office.  I have checked into it, and although it appears that John has kept his alleged rip-offs under the amount for grand theft, If enough people file complaints, the DA can and will press charges for Fraud. This doesn't mean you will get your money back, but it might come as small satisfaction to see him arraigned on criminal charges.

Now an email going out telling people to call this number for a diploma. Fake and a phishing attempt. Don't call the number!

I get 2 or more spames from this lowlife each day with fake email address.  They never answer the phone, I wonder why?

Raquel <Raquel@financial-tracking.com> emailed me and said she has a university degree for me, looks like a request for credit card info.....or could be a debt collector snooping in disguise...???

If I get a fake degree from these people, can they help me get a fake job and fake paycheck to go with it?
