Called three times early sunday no messages

calls repeatedly between 8am and 9pm (sometimes in 10-minute intervals) but never leaves any messages

Keeps calling my work number asking for people who arent there. When i tell them nobody by that name is here they say "Ok this call will be monitored" then they ask me for the phone number they just called so they can verify it. Then i usually just hang up on them and somebody diffrent calls back.

This number has called twice for me today. Not sure who it is...

They have called repeatedly... these are just the recent calls:
Feb 5 @ 11:05am & 12:05pm, Feb 6 @ 11:39am & 12:31pm, Feb 7 @12:41pm & 1:11pm, Feb 8 @ 12:13pm & 12:46pm

I have received a call from this number at least 6 times today. Early morning, dinner time and later. Phone usually rings just twice, I pick up and no one is there... no message. I'm getting very aggravted!

This # just called my call phone twice, at 9:58 and 10:44 AM. No message, just a blank voicemail that I have to pay for to retrieve.  Very Annoying!!

Someone at that number has called me 16 times in the last 3 days starting around 8:30 AM and ending around 9 PM. Never left a message.

It's Chase Bank collections calling from India.

I got more calls from this number today. He told me he is from Chase Bank in India.  He also told me about some balance on a credit card that I don't even have.  He started to laugh and put me on mute and then came back on the phone laughing.  

I asked the guy what his phone number was and he told me a 1-800 number, but I told him the number he is calling from has an 847 area code.   I also explained to him that he is calling during non-bank hours (8 AM - 9 AM and 5 PM - 9 PM).

Then I asked to speak to his manager or supervisor and he put me on hold.  About a minute later, a woman came on (which was a recording) and it hung up on me..  It's a scam.  Don't give your info.

This number calls my home repeatedly. It can't be a bill collector because I am not past due nor do I owe anyone money. As early as 8 am on Sundays, and until 9:30 or 10:00 p.m. at night.  We have a small private phone company in my hometown with not a lot of features so I can't block the call.  This number called my house 19 times in one day. I now just pick up and hang right back up. I do not know what else to do. Very frustrating. Its some kind of scam and I can't block the caller. : (  I am in Tennessee so I think I will call the state and see if they can investigate.

i am about to sue these mofos for harrassment.  i say we get a joint lawsuit and take it to the supreme court.  they have called me every ten minutes asking for some woman i don't know, all day long.  im in tennessee too to last poster if the state tells u anything let me know. luvslilkisses@aol.com.

ok i called chase bank's american office.  if anyone keeps receiving these annoying phone calls, call 212-270-6000.  ask to talk to a supervisor in the credit cards department.  the lady was very helpful and said if the calls persisted that they themselves would seek a solution.

I'm still getting calls from this number.. (7 calls from them today and 6 yesterday).  They've claimed to be from Chase Bank in India (I've posted one experience with them above), but the phone number actually traces to Elgin, IL..   So far, I haven't been able to get the number blocked.  Does anyone else have more info?

847-488-3313 calls and leaves odd sounds. It's annoying. At other times peope call looking for some guy named Harry Clay, or a girl named Brandy or Heather, or something. This all comes to my cell number.

OMG, same calls here! Caller ID says "(847)488-3313 Elgin, IL". I average 10 or more per day on my caller ID.  If I am home and answer, a recording tells me to hold and that this call will be monitored, usually the line goes dead but sometimes I get a foreign speaking person asking me who I am and and what number I am calling from.  Of course my guard is immediately up.  I usually just hang up.  Now I am getting foreign voiced calls at my work number from this same number.  However, I don't answer my phone directly, I have a receptionist and she is getting annoyed with the calls that either have dead air on the other end or a foreign person asking for some unknown person.  I find it unusual that my work number is getting these calls as well, since my work number is not associated with anything that would be related to Elgin Illinois.  I do have accounts with Chase Bank and am wondering if by some chance they have "leaked" out our personal information and numbers to someone (they would have my work number)...Oddly, Chase has also asked me this week to change my online User ID names, and in the last month issued me new debits card saying there was a fraudulent security issue with my accounts....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....I'm thinking Chase either leaked info or was hacked and we are all paying the price.

Like others above, I have been getting calls from this number.  It started with an 800 #, went to the 847 #, then to a 210 #(Texas), and one other (don't remember the exchange).  I'm on the National Do-Not-Call Registry and turned in the 800 #, which no longer calls.  Now I have to register the other 3 numbers!  These calls have increased my phone bill (cell) by $5.00 this month!!!  Why should I have to pay for this s**t???  Is there NOTHING which can be done?  I have nothing to do with Chase...no credit cards at all, so what gives?  If anyone comes upwith an answer, please let us know.  How FRUSTRATING!  I have been getting these calls since right after the first of the year - 2008.

I talked to someone, and they told me they represent Chase Bank, but are not Chase Bank.  They are a CSD (Custermer service department) I told him I was not confortable giving information over the phone.  I did however give our name and state, in which they showed no acct information matching.  He gave a number in Orlando of 1-800-694-6909 for another CSD in America.  He also infored me that anything that they did could be handled in any branch office.  I highly recommend that.  He added that you can set up your account to relay in communication via letter or e-mail. (If an on-line account has been set up).  The call took about 40 minutes and that is because I ended the call.
