The call was to verify that towing service was received. A message was left.

Received a call from this number on February 27, 2008.  A return call resulted in a message saying I'd reached Vail Systems.  The link to their contact page: http://www.vailsys.com/company/contact.html

While the voicemail message was incomplete, the part of the automated message that was there mentioned something about my needing to activate some card.  As I hold no card of any kind that requires activation, this was either an error, sales ploy or fraudulent call.  I sent them a terse e-mail requesting that they remove me from any database they have - and strongly suggested that they NOT call me again.

This call was received from a credit card company I deal with verifying that I should have received my replacement card from them.

The company is a just a automated call service contracted by companies offering credit or services to people.  If you check the number they give you to call for information, it is usually for the company you deal with directly (like Sams, or Banana Republic, etc. etc.).  They're legit.

Call was to confirm if my roadside service had contacted me when I needed a jump start. Since the car was jumped two hours prior to the call, I simply pressed 2 to not talk to anyone and that was that.

This was a real call(although automated) from Allstate roadside service making sure the tow company they sent out for me had been there to help me.

My road service called from this number and left an automated message.

got this call at 2:48am.  wanted to chock them i was sleeping.

Our company uses the services of the company that has this number.  Our customers call a 1800 number to be connected to the nearest location and this service forwards them to our store.

caller id for MY phone got changed somehow to this#-847-572-2285.

I did not receive a call from this number.  I called Cricket Wireless customer service and they said 847-572-2285 was what came up on their caller ID as being my phone number.  That is not even close to my phone number.  I called the number and heard a message saying it belonged to Vail Systems.  Why is shows up as my number is puzzling.
