got a call from this number, didn't answer - no voicemail

same here just now and when I called back it was a disconnected number.

Left no message.  Constant busy signal when I dialed this number.

Got a call from this number on my cell -said they were from discover card and wanted to lower rates said hit 1 for more information and nothing. Called  the number back and got you can call the number as dialed

Typically, I do not even answer unknown numbers like 848-735-4000.  I'm glad I looked at this website.  It is obviously a scam number.

I have reported them, And will EVERY TIME they call!

It cost ME money when they Call MY Cell Phone!!!!!

It's a Shame they called Me on my Cell Phone, When ONLY my Family has my Number. Wonder if My Cell Phone Service SOLD my Number??

This is a scam.  And a very sophisticated one.  After you pick up, if they hear a voice, then they route your call to the automated message to press 1.  If you then press 1, then they route you to a human who tries to sell you something you don't want.

Just got a call from this number with no response on the other end when I answered.

[***] calling again.  I hate these people.  I will not do business over the telephone.  I do not care who it is.

they called me and said, "nothing is currently with your credit card currently but here is how we can lower your rates"  that was as far as I made it into the call before I hung up.  Have had my Cell number for over 10 years and today is the first time I have received a call like this.

This number has called me twice in one hour. I refuse to pick it up. I tried to file a complaint as suggested in a previous comment, but the website is unable to report the number because it's too new...?

I reported them to the donotcall.gov...This isn't Discover Card as they claim. I do not even have a Discover Card. Total Scam.

SCAM call.

I called this number back on my landline.  They called on my cell phone (Verizon) and they are an Office supplier.  She says they are in Illinois.  The woman was very nice and took down my info to have them stop the calls.  I hope this works because I also filed a complaint with 'Donot call.org'.

Telespam doesn't need to buy phone lists to get your number.  Thanks to IP phones and computer-assisted dialing these operations can dial 1000 numbers at a time and sweep entire exchanges in less than an hour.  

It's very likely even your unlisted numbers are just called at random.

DNC reports don't matter because, like most criminal scum, they don't obey the law. (Democratic response: Make more laws!)  Calling back doesn't matter because the caller ID is spoofed. Fake. Pulled at random. At best it's a disconnected line. At worst callbacks harass some poor [***] who owns that number.
