I don't know who it is but I got a call today at 1:38PM>

I received a message regarding a slip and fall accident.  Press 1 to speak to a person, I did and
the message was repeated.  there was no way to talk to a person.

Got the call, but wasn't home.  Caller ID says "name unavailable".............  isn't it too bad I wasn't home!  NOT!

got two calls when not home.  Must be my lucky day.

I just got the call and asked for person's last name..it was Starr...from American Senior Assistance
Since the message said if you are a medicare patient with diabetes or back pain press 1.  Asked him why they thought I was a Medicare patient?? He tried to talk about something else..Asked him again about how he got my name..he said not a telemarketer..right.
Asked again..he hung up.

This call showed up on my caller ID as from the Dominican Republic.  My wife says there are scams from the Dom Rep where they somehow reverse-bill your phone at an exhorbitant per-minute charge, hence they want to keep you on the line as long as possible.  Can't say for sure that's what it was but I'm glad I didn't pick up.

I received a call from that number, also.  Fortunately I did not answer.  I have caller ID, but that really didn't help.
