repeated calls and hang ups. dont know source

I keep getting this number come up on my caller ID and no message left. I looked this number up and it seems to be telemarketing, not sure. It shows up from D Republic Call. Wish they or whoever would stop calling me.

AREA CODE IS DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - a FOREIGN COUNTRY and therefore possibly not subject to the DNC List laws, **IF** number is REAL and not **SPOOFED** that is.  This is an attempt at IDENTIFY THEFT by trying to gain people's SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS under the RUSE that they are selling/providing diabetic supplies to medicare patients.

THIS IS A SCAM PEOPLE and best NOT ANSWERED.  Pick up/hang up WITHOUT ANSWERING to break the call and 'confuse' the robodialer.

The DOMINICAN REPUBLIC is a DEN OF THIEVES and CRIMINALS and should be nuked.

Recorded female voice with an important message about seniors (and Medicare? - can't remember).  I was urged to press 1 to get more information or 2 to be removed from the list.  I pushed 2 and was told to stay on the line for the next  available representative.  Someone did answer, I said "I want to be removed from the list" and the nimrod hung up.

Recording asked about back pain and diabetes for medicare people.  Said press 2 to unsubcribe phone number.  When person came on the phone told them to take our phone number off their list they hungup on me.

This is one of several trying to get my information, one posed as Walgreen's.  They ask for information that they should already have if they are legitimate.  They are very  pushy.  One hotel employee in the D. R. once got my spouse's phone number, and charged $1400 worth of calls.  They were busted by the FBI.

Just got a call from them in Clovis California near Fresno.  They left no message.

Telemarketing for health insurance. Left msg on my answering machine. I've blocked these idiots.

This the second time I am reporting this same number. I had received many more than 2 calls though.  This call was on 1*25/13 @ 9:22 AM  3 rings and hang up.

I tried to block this number a message popped up saying this is an invalid number.

Got a call from this number a few times. I never answer it

I answered this call this morning. It was "American Seniors Assistance" by a person with an accent, possibly Latino. Said they were able to provide free assistance and products to seniors on Medicare and with conditions like back pain. I asked her again for the name of the company which she repeated. Then asked her where the company was out of. She replied,"We are located in Fairfax, Virgina." When I asked her to provide a street address, she hung up. Then I called the number which was on caller ID and got the recording "This number is disconnected or no longer in service". The area code appears to be Dominican Republic.
This is a scam preying on a vulnerable sector of the population!  Do not give these criminals any information. We are getting a lot of these and I intend to continue to try to uncover information that may tell me who they are. Different "masked" numbers from all over, it seems. BEWARE.

God a call from this number. Whoever it was hung up after 3 rings.

for the next ppl, go immed to fcc.gov & file a complaint. they WILL get back to you telling you they are investigating. let our government do it's job. the # of these calls i get has decreased since i started reporting them.
