"Linda" calling from "Senior Benefits" to screen me to see if I want to buy "final expense" life insurance.

After questioning me she assured me (in her best India SCAMMER accent) that an expert agent would call me back in the next few days to help me understand how this final expense insurance could benefit me and my family.

Here is a transcript of this "Final Expense Insurance" SCAM telemarketing call:

[me:] Hello? Hello?
[they:] Hi, this is Linda with Senior Benefits. How are you today?

[me:] I am just fine thank you.
[they:] Great. Now the purpose of my call is to inform you about the new low cost final expense insurance plan that has just been approved in your state New Jersey. This new plan is designed to cover 100% of your final expenses. Our local agent can give you a call back in a couple of days and give you more information. So would you be interested in learning more about the new low cost life insurance plan?

[me:] Uh, yes I would.
[they:] Ok so when should we call back would it be in the morning, afternoon or evening?

[me:] Uh, the afternoon is probably better.
[they:] Ok and is your last name Robertson?

[me:] Uh, no.
[they:] And can you please confirm your first and last name for me

[me:] Uh, yes I can. If you can hold on for just a second, my batteries in my phone are running out, let me just switch phones here.
[they:] Ok.

[me:] I have to make sure I can hear you. Uh, just a second please.
[they:] Ok sir. Yeah.

[me:] Uh, hello? Hello?
[they:] Yes. Can you please confirm your...can you hear me?

[me:] Yes, I can hear you. Now who did you just ask for? Did you say Robertson?
[they:] Robertson.

[me:] No. My name is Kenneth Williams.
[they:] Oh, Kenneth Williams. And how old are you sir?

[me:] I am 64.
[they:] Ok great. And will the information on burial insurance be just for you, or your husband as well, or your wife as well?

[me:] ;I'm not married.
[they:] Ok. So would you prefer us to receive the information on five, ten or twenty thousand in coverage?

[me:] Uh, did you just say on five, ten or twenty thousand dollars coverage?
[they:] Yes.

[me:] Uh, twenty thousand please.
[they:] Great, and if you choose to take coverage, who would the benefit go to?

[me:] Uh...
[they:] Would it be uh...ok...well...

[me:] I...I would leave it in trust to two or three of my relatives.
[they:] Oh, your relatives, great. And just as a reminder that you speak with me today, what is your favourite colour sir?

[me:] My favourite colour?
[they:] Yes.

[me:] My favourite colour is red.
[they:] Ok great. Well our agent is an expert and a new client and they'll provide you with a code to help you better understand how the affordable plan can benefit you and your family. So please remember to expect a call back from one of our agents from the diversified group within the next few days about the final expense insurance plan, ok Kenneth?

[me:] Ohhhh kay.
[they:] Thank you for your time and do have a great day sir. Buh bye.

[me:] All right, well thank you very much for calling and I hope you have a nice day.
[they:] Yes, thank you, buh bye.

[me:] Good bye.
