Received a call just a few minutes ago.  Since I have caller ID and the number appears on my TV screen I did not answer and let them leave a message.  This I do every time I do not recognize the caller. They left a message saying something about reducing my credid card interest and that it was the last chance I had to do so. I received another message like that the other day.Caller ID given was Pensacola, FL

Same number but they did not leave a message. Call it back and it's disconnected.

WOW- the call came in from the 850-473-1276 (I *69 it) and I pressed one so I could talk to a live person. He was  so rude wanted me to verify my name and phone number...Kept asking again and again. I told him I did not care to "verify" anything and that I needed some information from him first. He insisted and even when I responded "you already have my information." He got smart with me. He interrupted me wouldn't tell me any information about his company other than they are called "Financial Services" and want to give me a lower credit rate. Would not tell me how they received my number, or what his name is or even let me speak to his supervisor. He asked in a higher more annoyed voice "why do you want to do that?" I responded that I am the customer and I feel you are treating me disrespectably by interrupting me every moment and refuse to answer my questions...and HE hung up!!! scam it is!

Don't you just love it when the scammers hang up on YOU??
I got a call from 850-473-1276 this afternoon and there was no one there.  I usually answer the calls, press 1, and before they know what's happening, I tell them they are breaking the law and hang up.  I even start out with their name, if they give one, to catch them off guard.  Then I report them to:

It's the website to report unsolicited phone calls to your home, office, or cellphone.  I'm using it fairly regularly now.
By the way, that recording you get when you call them back is probably an answering machine with their own message.

Got a call from this number. Thank goodness for caller i.d. Since I don't know anybody in Pensacola, FL, I let it go into voice mail. When they didn't leave a message I knew it was a solicitation.

And as someone stated in an earlier post, NEVER give out a credit card number or P.I.N. number to anyone. Stay vigilant, these criminals are always coming up with scams to rip us off!!

I just received a call from this scam artist.  How can they keep their phone line after all of these scam reports????  Is it that difficult to track them down?

I routinely receive these irritating calls...these guys and others...usually on my business line (which I find odd). I usually ignore them three or four times then answer the phone in an angry sounding voice, "32nd precinct, sergeant McGuire"...I never hear from them again...

I just received this same call on my home phone. I do not answer to #'s that I dont know. I decided that I would try to find it on my PC cause I was curious as to who was calling. Thanks for this site and the people who report on here so that others may know what kind of rip offs are out there.

Got a called, answered and asked them who they were. Caller said Financial Services. I asked if they knew of the "Do Not Call Registry" They hung up immediately.

Re:  Account lower interest rates. Pressed 1, advised person on line I am on no call list and will press charges should this harassment continue. She was "clueless".  Just tried to call number and was answered in Spanish.

Yeah, "Sheri" answers as of their "customer service reps" and asked me "please verify your name and phone number".  I said sternly "NO, I want my number taken off your call list as I'm registered on the National Do No Call List" and she hung up on ME!!  Ha.... next one that calls is going to get an earful before they can hang up...  that's the only "recourse/respite" I'll be able to get, I'm sure, but I don't care....

Caller ID said "Marketing" with this number. When I dialed back 2 seconds later, this number had been disconnected.

Got here by Googling the number. Don't any of you people know you can report this to the Feds? Here's how: First, sign up on the National Do Not Call Registry (Google it and do it online). Then, when you get a call like this, go to the Do Not Call website again and report the chumps! It's just that easy.

Credit infromation wanted

just got this call....i pressed 1, he asked me for name and phone number, I said I wouldn 't give it out until he told me what the call was in regards to, he asked again, I responded the same way then he hung up on me.  GLad I googled this...

This call was from "financial services," what is this shady garbage?
