Phony automated message stating that I had to call Sam Wilson, the Florida Attorney General in the next 30 minutes or I would be arrested by the county sheriff and be held "behind jail on fraudulent charges."

Kevin Williams from state attorney's office.  I have 30 min to call back and ask for Sam Wilson or I will be arrested by local authorities.  I called, foreign voice.  I told him to send an officer out.  Says I borrowed money in Florida and never paid it back.

I just received the same call. He had a thick accent and said if I got off the phone with him within 30 min the local sheriff's dept would be out to arrest me. He refused to verify in any way if he was truly the attorney general's office in Florida. We shall see!

I receive a call in the form of 911. When I answered the caller stated I needed to turn myself in about some money I never borrowed ands if I don't they will send a police offer to my house. As a former law enforcement officer 911 will never call you, if they do the number will be a legitimate telephone number and if it really is an emergency they will send someone to your home or interrupt your telephone call. Remember, the United States does not have what we call debtors jail/prison, there must be due process for both civil and criminal offences. I have reported this call to the really Attorney General.

I just received the same phone call..  30 minutes to call back otherwise I will be held behind jai for six months.  This happened to me years ago.  It is a scam obviously.  Do not panic.

i have received 2 phone calls this morning from 911, it was automated and stated sonething to the nature of "This is Kevin Wiiams from the attorney generals office and you need to call Sam Wilson at 850-633-2646 within 30 minutes or.a sheriff will be sent to arrest you".  I did call and the gentleman told me he was sending someone to my home to arrest me because I didnt take care of some money I borrowed.  I told him I did not know what he was talking about and I was not home.  I was then told he was giving them my phone number and they would get me.  I said go ahead.

I received a call this morning which I missed. It came up on my caller id as 911. I called back the number left on my VM and the man who answered had a heavy Indian accent. He stated he was Atty Sam Wilson from Florida Atty General Office. He advised me I owed money and i had a warrant for my arrest.  He also stated the. police would be at my home within 30 mins to arrest me. Do not give these sick people your info!!! Report these scammers!

I just received a call from a 911 Emergency that says to call the Atty General's office in Florida about an urgent matter within 30 min or I'll be arrested. Called the number back it rang a few times then went to a busy signal

got a call from 911 emergency screen on my phone from indian guy said with the attorney general office in FLA and i needed to call 850-633-2646 in 30 min or i would be arrested. Also asked if i was home and to stay there the sheriff was on his way to arrest me for money borrowed i know nothing about.

They said their name was Sam Wilson and they were going to send the police to arrest me for a loan I took out 2 1/2 years ago and didn't pay back unless I was willing to pay in full right now they were sending the police to arrest me.

Call came from Florida. Suppose to be State Attorney Office saying they were going to arrest me in 30 min on fraud.

Same deal as every other commenter so far....robotic voice on my voice mail saying to call State Atty Sam Wilson blah, blah, blah.  Figured I'd Google the number, saw the site and complaints, and that's it.  Figured it was a scam, but, might as well report it anyway.  Btw, go ahead and try, send the cops.  I'm protected under the bankruptcy law in my state....

My husband just received a call...was a recording saying there was a warrant out for his arrest for a fradualent activity in Florida...said he had 30 minutes to call back or he would be put in jail for 6 months.

Number came up like it was an emergency call.

I got the same call recently. I didn't answer but when I checked the VM it was the exact same thing. I called a couple of civil attorneys and pretty much got laughed at. First of all, to this Foreign [***], this is AMERICA son!! You don't get put in jail for owing money. So, what-the-[***]-ever to your BS!  I gave YOUR information to the county sheriff, well, at least they have the BS false info that you're telling all the people you've called. My advice to anyone who receives this same call would be to save the recording and give it to your local law enforcement. Then, call an attorney bc they obviously have some of your personal information. CYA, just in case it leads to an identity theft issue.

I've received this call by numerous times. Told him this n his scam was on social media . He hung up.

Just got that call exactly 5 minutes ago. When they called my caller id said Emergency Call. Very strange!
