Received a call from this number, caller stated he was from Verizon, my bill was past due and my service would be disconnected immediately.  Caller could not give my account number, said his name was Steven and he was in Tallahassee FL.
I checked my bill and I am current, called Verizon and they verified that I am current on my bill.  Verizon called the number and it only rang one time and they got disconnected.

Apparently another scam.

 He called me as well and got mine CC number. Charged $12,262.28 at Panama City beach Motors!!! Not good with my connections with the FBI!!! See ya soon sitting in Jail!!!!!

Scam! Massive scam! Said he was with Sprint and I was past due. Liar liar pants on fire!

I received a call from this phone number claiming to be from AT&T telling me my bill was past due.  I knew that was untrue because I just paid it.  I tried calling the phone number but it says their voicemail system has not been set up.  I then called AT&T to report it.

Call said he was from ATT and my bill is past due and phone would be cut off.  He couldn't verify account number and my bill is current.

Said he was with Verizon.  I owed my July bill.  I had already paid it but he had an answer for every argument is presented.  Beware.  Why isn't this guy in jail yet?  Seems like he's been doing this for a while.

Same experience as others but I am with T-Mobile. I have a credit so I knew he was wrong. When I asked for his name and he wouldn't give me anything but Steven and I told him I needed more then that he hung up. Now that I know that it was a scam I wish I would have played with a little bit.

I got a call from 850-933-0098 on my cell on 08/26/2015 from someone who asked for me by name, claiming that he was from Verizon Wireless. He told me that my account was overdue. When I told him that I had paid my bill a few days before, he said that the payment didn't go through. He then said that my account will be closed if I didn't make a payment through him, because on-line it takes up to 48 hours to get credited. When I told him that I would like to go ahead and make it, he asked for my credit card information. I told him that he had it on file, since he was calling from Verizon. He claimed that the system was down and he couldn't get it then. I realized that it was a scam and I hung up. I then checked my balance online and it was $0.

Called said he was with AT&T we were past due on bill. We had just paid it ... BIG SCAM ...  Checked with Verizon ..  Everything is current

This is not a call from Verizon. They seek credit card information to pay a past due bill.
