Yes, got a call on 29-Apr-2010, but i refused to pick-up the call. This number generated from China, heard that some people there trying to call you and if you start talking to them for few minutes, they can actually tap to your moblie line and in future they make a call using their mobile phone and you pay their bill. I have some Chinese friends using this type of phone system that even they made long distance phone call and does not require single cent on the phone bill.

I got a call from this number on my cell today, 5/8/10, but I didn't pick up.

Just got a call, did not pick up (July 23rd, 2010). It is the first time I am googling this number and seeing those responses, but it makes sense because I had a few calls that I picked up and someone started talking to me n Chinese and I hung up! (btw, I am taking chinese so I was sure maybe they got my number from the chinese department at school... but now I know better!)

Got it, Chinese lady asked if I knew Mandarin and hung up

I just got this call today from the Mandarin Chinese-speaking lady.  It's really annoying because this same lady has called from 780-702-0874 several times in July (I hung up on them the last time they called from the 780 number, which explains them using a new number), a number which shows up as 001022 and an "Unknown Number".  I told her to speak English and when I tried to ask her where she was calling from (in Mandarin), she said Vancouver (that was the first time she called).  Also, she keeps calling me on my business number.  I don't know what's going on, but after reading these posts, I will try to investigate further.

I am in Edmonton Canada. I just got this call today (August 5th, 2010) and yes there was a mandarin speaking lady asking me whether I speak mandarin, I ignored her and kept on asking where she was calling from but she just wouldn't answer the question. The call lasts 38 seconds. Seriously don't pick up a call with this number: it wastes your time and maybe worse, as suggested above, steals your phone data.
