It's USAA. I called back but it wasn't for my deceased roommate

Someone from this number calls over and over again. Sometimes they leave blank or just "rustling" voicemails.  When I called the number back, it asked me to leave a voice mail. The company stated was USAA.

They called me again for the umpteenth time.... they left to silent voicemail message today.  When I called them back a woman answered and said she was from USAA. She asked, "Are you a member of this group?" I said, "I don't know, am I, you tell me...". She than fished for my name..... I told her she was stalking me and so on.... and not to keep calling...she tried to talk over me and I hung up. I now have her number blocked. So annoying...

usaa is a reputable company.  someone probably was trying to get information out of you for their own use. How scary!

This number keeps calling me as well, without leaving a voice message. I just answered a call and they hung up. Pretty sure this number isn't 100% legitimate.

This number called after 3 calls from another number. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFO!!!! Called USAA and it is a total scam.
Four calls in a week from these people!!!

this number keeps calling,saying they are usaa, they call all the time, Usaa does not do that, so I think this is a scam to get information about you to steal identity

Never leaves message.  I am a usaa member. They wouldn't do that.

Called number back and just heard rustling an some ones voice saying calm down calm down.  I hung up.

I keep getting calls from this number.  I have not answered, but, decided to google the number and have read your responses.  I am a long-time USAA member and they do not call randomly.  I will either get a letter in the mail or an email from USAA telling me that I will receive a call by a certain date because they want to update my information, discuss my policies, see if I need to update my policies, etc.  I have never gotten a call from them without getting notified in advance.

They call as a phishing practice and say they are USAA and have an important message. I contacted USAA directly and was told the caller actually works for Wilshire Group and Associates from Riverside CA and pretend to be USAA to get information from you regarding you or a relative and a collection issue. Totally illegal and USAA is mounting another lawsuit against Wilshire and Associates.

PHISHING call.  Did not answer and with this group's report I called USAA (I'm a member) and asked if they had any out going calls to any of my contacts. It took about 15 minutes start to finish and they made an "official report" for the phishing call and stated they strive to shut these calls down. Which is good cause I am overseas and they have called 2X today alone. First time receiving calls from this number.

This is a scam!! I've been a mbr for over 25yrs and also worked at USAA. They do not call you like these people have and if you look up the number it is NOT one of USAA's numbers listed on their site.
PLEASE CALL USAA NUMBER LISTED on their OFFICIAL website NOT this number.
