got a credit card charge for $79.00 that referenced this phone number...anyone know who or what it is?

Same thing happened to me except my charge was only $40. It's got to be a scam of some kind.

I got a $2.00 charge which was expected as my wife had signed up for a "free" magazine subscription. A week later someone made $1500 worth of charges in Amherst NY and I think it's related.

I got a charge for 17.50

My charge was for 58.50, out of New York, SCAM for sure because I never authorized this

I got a charge for 59$. How do I get rid of this? Damn!!!

Just got a $37.00 charge.  Wtf?!?

I got an unauthorized charge from this number as well, in the amount of $19.00.  I am super upset because when that payment cleared, it was all the money that I had.  I called the bank and they shut down my debit card and opened a fraud case.  Report this, if it happens to you!  Let's bring them down.

Was charged $40 for magazine subscription I DID NOT ORDER.  Called the number & was able to cancel it but never got my money back.  How can I get a refund?

I just saw a $38 charge on one of our credit card statements for a Time*FlyFher with this phone number. Didn't subscribe to anything like this. No luck calling their number. I got the automated system and it would not recognize FlyFisher (which I am assuming is the title) and after I hit '0" to try to get to a live person the call dropped. I am sending a letter to my credit card company to dispute the charge. Anyone have luck getting a refund or with their credit card company?

I found out that my charge came from an FYE "Backstage Pass VIP" membership that was cancelled two weeks after we got it.  Supposedly they automatically sign you up for a magazine subscription and don't tell you that when you call to cancel the membership you also have to cancel the magazine subscription you know nothing about.  I'm currently fighting to get a $24.50 charge taken away from my bank account.

You are being billed for magazines people! ! I signed up for a 2 dollar promotion a year ago for a couple of magazine!  I nevet agrred on to continue after a year at regular cost! In the last month my account was charged 74$! I have on line banking and fortunately I saw both charges while they were pending!  I called the AUTOMATED voice line since you can't talk to a real HUMAN,  I was able to cancel my subscitions and get a refund, be careful folks as the robot voice will offer you a complete refund but at the same time make it sound like you will only get it if you agree to accept another year of the same magazine at a small fee, JUST KEEP SAYING NO , NO,, NO!
MAKE SURE IF YOU HAVE ORDERED MORE THEN ONE MAGAZINE THAT YOU KNOW THE
NAME OF IT! OTHER WISE YOU CAN CANCEL ONE BUT WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANOTHER! !
THE AUTOMATED VOICE WILL NOT TELL YOU OF ALL THE MAGAZINE THAT YOU ORDER UNTIL THE END! ITS FRUSTRATING , BUT DON'T GIVE UP FOLKS AND KEEP TABS ON YOUR BANK ACCOUNT! ! AND LASTLY,  DON'T MAKE THIS MISTAKE AGAIN! I'VE LEARNED MY LESSON! !

They are hard at work as of 9/6/14. Same took place. 68$ for a magazine, but only 2$ if I agree. I agreed. Uh oh. Now what?

I just had this happen as well and the best advice is to keep saying NO! They make you think you want to say 'yes' to cancel but keep hitting No - just like the advice from gamevock - thanks for that. Apparently I should see a refund on my card in the next couple of days.

They charged my bank card after it expired.  I got a number from the bank and got this information from them.  They said the bank gave them the new expiration number but my bank swears it was ot them.  Every other service I use requires me to input all new information after my card expires.  This is the only company I have ever seen that somehow manages to continue to be used after my card expires.  The bank's headquarters said some companies will guess a new expiration date after the old one expires and continue to charge you.  
Change your bank card numbers if necessary.

Eventually on the automated messages you can hit '0' zero and it will transfer you to an operator.  That is what I did.

I was charged 17.50 and my account went into overdraft my bank charged me a fee of thirty dollars!! I called and they refunded the 17.50 but said I would have to fax my bank statement for them to refund the fee amount.. Complete [***]!
