I recently started getting phone calls from a JT Teller & Associates, phone number 855-229-8030 and 585-645-0060.  They claim I owe on a cash advance debt from 2009.  I googled the company name and the phone numbers and came up with nothing.  Guy says his name is Rueben Goldstein.

Ask them for proof of the debt (and that they own it), and then send a cease and desist letter (receipt confirmation) to the following address:

They already have a case against them with the BB upstate NY, confused, rude and very unprepared, don't fall for the scare tactics.

I have been getting phone calls from JT Keller and Assoicates, the phone numbers are 585-645-0063 the guys name was Derek Anderson and also from 585-645-0067 name was Joseph Martellie. They are saying that we owe 2 payday loans from like 2007 and that they are going to send them to our county clerks office for an apperance for wage garnishment. I have asked for them to send something to me in the mail showing the proof and information that they have but have never gotten any information from them, but they keep calling. I get 3 or 4 phone calls aday from 2 or 3 different people.

These guys are morons! This operation has the same address as McMillian and Andrews. McMillian and Andrews was another zombie debt collector that no longer exists. I'm assuming that they just changed their names. Don't send them anything except for a validation letter! They try to sound as though they are experienced in the law when they call or leave messages but in reality they are fools! They have been telling me that they are having an affidavit notarized in the county clerks office for months. Only a fool would fall for this. County clerks don't notarize affidavit in civil matters.

This company has call my child and my work and harrassed us.  Lied and said had a complaint that to much noise was coming from my home and i was going to be served with a bench warrant and that something was going on with my car.  They said all the stuff to my daughter so, she called my all upset because she didnt know what that were talking about.  I stated to think about what she said and i know and she knew something wasn't right with that so when i got home the representative that was harrassing my daughter is named Tyler.  I told them off and ask for proof or send me something to my e-mail address havent gotten anything as of yet.

I received a call from Joe Martelli - J.T. Teller and Associates on yesterday, Monday, July 25th. Also, he called my sister, asking her for my contact information. She did not give the information to Mr. Martelli. The telephone number Mr. Martelli called from is 585-645-0067. My caller ID showed Pre Legal as the name of the business.

I returned Mr. Martelli's call. He tried to explain that he filed a complaint against me for a Payday loan I owed in 2009.  I did not give him a chance to finish talking. I immediately told him that his campany is bogus and he is a scam artist. I told Martelli that  I am going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Also, I called him a few "choice names." I hung up the telephone. That moron called back twice!!! Finally, I blocked his telephone number.

This is a bogus company and the employees are scammers.  Please report Pre Legal and J.T.Teller to the Federal Trade Commission. The telephone number is 877-382-4357. Also, you can file a complaint on-line on the Federal Trade Commission's website:www.federaltradecommission.com.

My husband received a call on Friday 9-23-11 from 1 855 229 8030 from a guy named Tyler Gibson. Husband doesn't remember if he gave a company name just that he remembers he said was a go between. It was in regards to a Capital One credit card he owed $1500.00 over 9 years ago. He made remarks that he was a thief and misused funds. (Which is one violation of the Fair Debt Collections Practices.) Then threatened he was going to have him served to go to court, garnish his wages, and get all of his property of value and sell it. (Second violation unless he is intending to do so.) Read the Fair Debt Collections Rules and Know Your Rights.

Then this Tyler guy asked to talk to me which is a violation of the Privacy Act of 1974. 5 U.S.C. 552 A Public Law No 93-579 Dec 31, 1974. The Privacy Act states in part no agency shall disclose any record which is contained in a system of records by any means of communication to any person, or to another agency, except pursuant to a written request by, or with the prior written consent of, the individual to whom the records pertains. I have prior experience as a debt collector and over 25 years working in the finance and mortgage field. You can not disclose any information even to a spouse unless you have written permission from the person who the account belongs to. And I also need to mention that the credit card was gotten before we even knew each other and I was not a co user or signer.

My husband and I will contact the Federal Trade Commission and advise of these unlawful collections practices.

I am getting calls from these idiots too...JT Keller & Assoc, a Joe Martelli, supposedly about a loan or such from over 8-10 years ago.  This is unreal that these people can get away with this.  They are calling family members and telling flat out lies.  You can be assured that I will be contacting the Federal Trade Commission and anyone else that can help.  These types of zombie debt collectors need to be stopped!! These clowns are calling and harassing me as well. Leaving messages, telling anyone who answers the phone about the "debt" and how I am going to be arrested, ect. Report this assclowns to the Better Business Bureau. I keep seeing dozens of reports on websites about these idiots, but only two complaints to  the BBB. If more of us complain something might get done.

This tyler person keeps calling my mom.  Today was the last straw he called my mom and gave her a portion of my social security number!! Wtf!!  I work in collections and have been for the past 8yrs. I know for a fact this act is a violation of the FDCPA. He even gave her some bogus [***] case no that he claims has been sent to civil court. Little did the idoit know, but my mom works at the court house and the case no given is in FACT COMPLETELY MADE UP!! Best believe I'm pissed and plan to file MANY COMPLAINTS.

Why don't you just try paying your bills on time? Especially since you're in collections and know if someone claims to be you then the last for of the ssn are used to verify. Maybe your idiot mom tried to pose as you? Just a thought.

This place is legit. I ignored calls and information sent to me by them and ended up recieving notice to appear for a case that had came from the card they were calling about. I should have taken care of this with them instead of getting garnished.

I love it when people who work for these bottom feeder scumbag illigal collection agencies post comments on here.  All it does is prove how much of a fraud this collection agency is.  A real collection agency would NEVER bother to post responses on a public website telling people to pay their bills.

NEVER PAY THESE PEOPLE A DIME.  Always ask for debt validation which I'm willing to bet they can't produce.
