Had the exact same call from Jessie. I'm guessing it's some kind of spambot seeing how others received the exact same message. I won't return the call.

Got a call from Jesse at this number.  Must be a scam.  Who calls on a Sunday to update a Merchant Services account?

This is a scam to get you to use SmartCard options with your Visa/Mastercard processing.  Don't give them your info!

Got the same message. Called my bank directly and was told no updates needed. This is a scam.

Same idea, but says "Your terminal needs updating, please press 1...." I suspect they are calling people they believe to be associated with small companies that have a credit card input device. I have an LLC and get these sorts of calls all the time from SEOs, etc.

I also received a call from 855 235-4678 today, on a Sunday afternoon. What kind of legitimate business only calls on Sundays? They also told me about a mandatory change to our merchant services account. Our merchant services provider would not contact us in this manner, on a Sunday, or without identifying themselves by company name.

Let's see... They called me on a Sunday. Called about my merchant services account, which doesn't exist. "Need to make a mandatory change". Please call "Us" back, with no indication of who "Us" is.

Gee, why would anyone be stupid enough to call these idiots back?

They called us twice, said its very urgent!  "Merchange Services, please call  for a mandatory change". I called our real agent that signed us up and asked about this. He called them and found out they are a company called National Processing Company (NPC) of San Antonio TX.  After much questioning , he found out that there isn't any mandatory changes at all, they are just fishing for new business to switch over or scam.  I reported them to Better Business Bureau.  According to BBB, National Processing Company of San Antonio are closed.

BE CAREFUL, DO NOT GIVE PERSONAL INFO TO ANYONE That Calls You On The Phone. Make sure they identify themselves as the right company you are with. If need be, tell them you are going to call your credit card processor yourself and verify any info they tell you. A real Customer Service number should be on your statement or your machine

It is "Merchant Services" and they definitely do not like someone telling them to take their number off the list. They are calling to update your ccard machine at your place of business. I told Crystal at Merchant Services tat I didn't have a credit card. She replied "that is all you had to say" and hung up on me. Nice.
