A lady called.  I said hello and she said, "Sorry, wrong number."  I hung up but they better not call back.

K-12 online school sales. Annoying because the calls come in twos.   First one they hang up at message and usually a few minutes later they call and leave a message.

For k-12 online schooling. Picked up and heard nothing!

I looked into getting info from this program, I gave them my info. I was expecting an email, I got an email, but it appeared more like an advertisement not a response to my specific inquiry. Then today I got a call but they asked for someone else, don't even know anyone with the name they asked for. I was also trying to inquire about the program in Oregon, and the caller identified himself as K12 from Washington.I'm very confused. I am just going to contact my sons public school and get the direct number for our k12 program here. I am worried that this website is more about commission or something.

Are you positive they are calling to get sales? It does seem that way to me.

They just called me ! Its not a K12 program they told me it was a law firm. I called them back and asked if it was k12 and he stated no , they were a law firm. hmmmm., strange !

I'm actually a k12 enrollment consultant. I'm one of those people who do the callings. We don't call anyone who doesn't ask for information on the website so no it's not just "sales" and were required to go over certain information. Its possible people looking into the program could have put wrong numbers. And about the Oregon thing, it's because the Washington state group covers Oregon too and it's possible to have rang in with a different state.

Also just to add.. Technically you can't 'Sale' something that's free. Lol. We just provide information to families who ask for it. And you can't just call a number and get taken off their list, the only way to get off the list is to just go ahead and say you're not interested and you want to be labeled as do not call. Until we check that do not call button... It's our job to call everyone who's put in that they want information as many times as it takes. This is because there is several people who will continue to be interested and keep contact within months and month then finally enroll into k12. We do this because we actually care about students education and see how sometimes brick and mortar public schools just aren't the best places for some students. It's not a scam, or selling anything. It's a public school that's tuition free, just like regular ones. Just based at home. But like I said, the only way not to get calls is to simply tell them not to call or else you'll continue to get calls for 45 days. And for the calling twice, it's probably because they couldn't hear you or something messed up on the phone because when a call is disconnected they HAVE to call back. That's the only time it'll 'come in twos'. It's just kinda sad how people can complain so much without knowing everything first and not just asking to not be called.
