There is no statute of limitations on student loans... you will ALWAYS owe them regardless of bankruptcy or age of debt.  Sorry to burst your bubble.

Student loans prior to the 91 change of the law that were improperly handled are not subject to the change in the law.  Criminal and improper collection attempts for loans that had a properly expired statute of limitations prior to 91 - do expire.
