Vicki called me and helped me save money on my credit card processing. Her extension is 7060. She will do a free rate anaylsis on the processing fees.

They called me to do credit card rate review.  I said yes and it worked out pretty good. I'm now save over $100 bucks a month.

They identified themselves as merchant services and it was Yvonne at extension 7833.

Said there was going to be an increase on processing fees - I'm currently with another credit card processing company and do not have any idea who these guys are.

Merchant Services is a great generic name designed to lure unexpecting businesses to do business with them...why didn't I think of that?

Received a phone call from this "company", and the woman left a message with this number for me to call back.  Have no idea where they got my number as it's unlisted, or why.   I called the number and got an automated answering with press 1 for this, 2 for that, etc.   The extension I was given to call was just a voice mail.

I am always suspicious of this type of thing and googled the number and "merchant services".  That business title and the fact they did not call me by name was a dead give away that something possibly wasn't quite right.

they call and say that they work for master card, visa and american express and that you have been overcharged and they are trying to get you reimbursed.  How would they know if you are overcharged?  Then they want to schedule a guy to look at your credit card statements...or you can fax them.???  I don't think so.

I recieved a call from Merchant Services and set an appointment for a rate review. I was quite surprised that they could save me 22% monthly on my processing. I did sign with them after being told that they have been in business for 17 years. I am happy with their service and have recommended them to many of my friends who own businesses.

Got a call from some twerpy little chick who, through her "Valley Girl" brogue was barely understandable; she managed to pronounce the phone number clearly however so I googled it and found this feedback site..., certainly wish these doofus's would find something else to occupy themselves with......

A woman called from 888-642-1153 in regards to Merchant Service (no Company name) and rate increases, and to please call back this # (855-270-9974 x7088). Of course, as a small business, one initially worries what this may be about, but since it didn't come from my actual merchant service company that I use, I researched online. This all falls in line with what everyone else has reported, so I'm blocking this number.

Marketing call.  Unsolicited.  They don't know that you do or don't accept credit cards.  All they know if you have a business number.  It's like a primary care physician calling all the homes in the city telling people they may have high cholesterol and they should be checked right away to prolong their life.  While it may be true, it's a nothing more than an attempt to drum up business.  They would like to see your statements so they can BARELY undercut your current provider, but then watch for statement fees, batch fees, etc.  They get their money back.  There's a reason the statements and terms are not very clear.

I received a call on April 17 from a different number asking me to call Karen at this number, extension 2006. She mentioned a rate increase that happened on April 1.Since I use Square for accepting credit cards, I found this to be strange message. Thankfully, Google Voice sent it straight to the Spam folder. I only found it because I was bored and reading the Spam messages!

I got a voice mail from the same thing people have spoken about: a "valley girl" type named Christina who sounded about 13 yrs old and with a mousy little voice.  If I was picturing her --- she would be chewing bubble gum and saying "like, like" .  The message was to call her that she was from Merchant Services and they have had some recent policy changes we needed to discuss with them.  I could not understand the extension number since her voice was so mousy. So I googled what I could understand and found this website.  I certainly will not call them.  Our law firm doesn't even accept credit cards.   Thanks for the info.

Btw....I am still with Merchant Services and have never been happier with the pricing and the customer service.

July 2013  had same call from this number , trying to falsely represent herself as my merchant service rep.  They want to meet and for me to turn over my statements!! It so happens I have had the same rep for years!!!  Beware, they are not real

Got a call from "Merchant Services" stating they need to set up an appointment for our "annual review". Called our real credit card merchant services and was told there was no annual review and that this place is a total phony telemarketing scam. I've asked them to take us off their call list but they keep calling. Hope I can make some money if they don't follow the do not call rules.
