Calls and hangs up. Three times in the last two days

Just called the number back - it's RBC. I filed a complaint. Don't know if it's a system/technical problem on their side, but I'm tired of them calling and hanging up.

4day old baby at home and these idiots call at nine in the morning, only to drop me when i answer.  I feell like stabbing a telemarketer...  Even worse if it's my bank...

Calls several times per day.
Answered twice, line is quiet and then hangs up on me.
Saved it into my cell so I could have the phone ring silent whenever they call.

Called since 4 days back to back. Always at the same time. 9 PM every day and I always missing the call but never leave message

This number calls my cell 4 times a day and asks for some guy named Nathan well for one this is not Nathan's phone number .And my mom has told the lady on the phone that there is no Nathan at this number to stop calling.Again today that number called again.

My father has been is hospital for the last 10 days, when I stopped by his house today to pick up a few things for him and to make sure the house was ok, I checked his phone to see who had called - this number has called 16 times in the last week. IT isn't the worst offender, but 16 times and no message left does seem a bit excessive.

This number calls and hangs up several times a day. I would like them to stop... How can this be done?

Keep getting calls alll day long from this number.  Some are of long duration and some are just three or four rings.

This number calls twice a day and has been doing this for several weeks. They never leave a message. If I answer the call there is no one there. I thought the DO NOT CALL list was supposed to put a stop to this anoying harassment !

I just answered one of these calls this morning. The caller informed me to have the person she was calling for to call the royal bank and that she could provide me a number.
When I asked her what this matter was regarding so I could pass it on to the other person in the household, she informed me that it was "of a personal matter"
The heavy accent woman did not provide her name nor an extention to be directly reached at. She did inform me at one time that the bank would have the information on hand that related to the call.
When you answer the phone and hear dead air on the line, most do indeed think that it's a prank call and this deters people from staying on the line to find out how important the call may actually be.

Pay your bills

This is an RBC courtesy call concerning your overdue bank account balance, line of credit, etc. Or requesting an amount owed to bring your credit card balance out of the negative below your limit. ie your limit is 1000, and you're now -1001 (due to additional charges).

The representative must wait for you to answer before they are connected to you. So there is a short delay before they'll respond after you pick up the phone.

Usually they'll just ask for a minimal amount to be paid as soon as possible. And even if you don't have the money, it's better to talk to them and tell them as much. Otherwise they'll just consider you a delinquent and your debt will grow exponentially.

According to RBC customer service, 855-272-1206 is a valid RBC number.
Calling me 2 to 3 times daily 6 days per week for more than 6 weeks. Leave no messages.
There is no reason for these calls. I told them that my next action would be to report to the police.

Who call me?

Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) collections left a voicemail looking for a guy who used to have my phone number.  

Called them back at the number they left (1-855-272-1205) and explained the person they were looking for is no longer associated with my phone number.

And to whomever said "Pay your bills", I do pay my bills, this guy obviously didn't. ;)
