I've been receiving calls from a blocked number on my cell phone and on my work phone from a John Mockler.  He says he will be stopping by my residence to have me sign for papers and if I'm not home when he passes, he'll stop by my place of employment and that I best have a supervisor here to sign as a witness.  Won't give any information as to what this is about, but did inform me that I HAVE to sign because he only gets paid if I sign.  I laughed and told him it looks like he won't be getting paid.  Was told I could call this number and give a "filing" number and would be given more information.  So far, he's a no-show and I'm pretty sure this is just a collection scam as previous posters have mentioned.

I just got the same type of call and when I called back, the guy asked for a file number which I didn't have. I looked up the number and it appears to be some sort of telemarketing company. This is probably a debt collection company.
