- fdhdfsh| 2 replies855-280-0768 is affiliated with PC Update Support. If you call them with any PC problem they will ask to access your PC remotely in order to troubleshoot and then they will tell you that you have viruses. They will ask for $$$ to clean the viruses (that do not actually exist!). They are fraudsters!
- GrantI got the same results. I wanted to contact yahoo and they claim they are from yahoo, but I realised they are fraudsters. They insisted on my using their people to clean up my computer..well I did not have the money and that is a good thing. I had to do a system restore after they left. My computer would not move.
- unknowthey said I had hackers in my computer and wanted $300.00 to clean up and download anti- virus software- they appeared to clean up but how would I know- anyway the anti-virus they installed did not work- they said some bs and said they downloaded another one- lifetime- now 2 weeks later the anti virus they downloaded was free and I am being asked to pay for it- they want to get back into my computer- no way- and I am not paying the 300.00 invoice they sent me
- jim replies to fdhdfshComplete scam....i found that # under canon printer support and the guy immediately got access to my computer and showed me 100s of attempts by hackers and how he would get a microsoft certified tech (another Indian) to help...tried to sell me on a solution.
Is it really affiliated wiht PC update support? - Nancy GouldI had these guys on this number I am reporting log on to my desktop saying I had Trojan infection.
Now what do I do? - richard forteI saw this number after doing a google search on how to fix a problem. Women with Indian accent sadi she worked for Hotmail & would fix the problem for free. Then said my IP was hacked & it would cost a minimum of $250 to fix it.
I found out, thru reverse tel # search, she does NOT work for Hotmail but works for the company whe was recommending me to.
They can't be trusted about anything. - YasinI found this number on google and called them to help me get access to my account, SCAM might describe this crimminal company. They asked me to remote to my PC and attemted to plant melishous software. I am a network eng., so I could tell that the chump on the other end didn't know what he was talking about. Microsoft issues network certs? I told him to get a real job. He tried to cover his tracts but I cut the connection and I snagged the session as well. When I asked him what my network had to do with me not getting access to my email account, he tried to talk tech (fail). The problem is that many are fooled by these jokers.

- Xg replies to fdhdfshI had same situation. I called to ask question about my new Cannon printer. After I refused to use the recommendation (using so-called Micro Soft tech he recommended)by the con technician. He hanged up the phone then started quickly check the information on my PC. I couldn't stop from my end.... Very scary.
