My wife got a call from 855.285.4056 saying they had proof that i had written them a bad check and they were taking me to court. That they were representing a payday loan online company but they could stop the court procedings if she would pay it in full now for $895 or if it goes to court it could be as  high as $2500

Said I was going to have to go to court if I didn't pay today for check fraud. Something about a payday loan I never got. I told them to go ahead and send me to court and I will see them then

Claimed that I have outstanding debt with pay day loan company (2013). E-mail they have on file became inactive 2009.

I just got cussed out by a representative that says that i owe a midland finacial for an online payday loan that i never payed back and that they are going to take me to court for intent to defraud.
Is this for real??

My mom got a call from "Mark Wallace" from 855-285-4056 this morning saying there was a claim that I needed to settle. I called them back to find out about them and they said they are from CFS, that they were from Georgia, but that they don't provide their address or phone number information, and that I needed to handle the claim for a fraudulent check of $430 before it goes to court, and that an email would be sent to my email address in the next 24 hours with a form to fill out. After I told the guy that I'm going to report them, he told me that "all we do is provide the information, you do what you have to do." I haven't had a checkbook in years so I obviously haven't written any bad checks. I told them not to ever call my parents or me again. I'm now going to report them to consumer protection and report identity theft to the credit agencies.

Received a call for someone I've never heard of.

Got a call from this guy named mark Wallace lots of noise in the back ground and a bleep on the phone line. Said I had a bank account with Capital One never had anything with them.Called him a scamer scamer and hung up. Researched CFS and they they are a flooring distributor in Georgia

What happened because I got a call like that too. Was it called CFS and it was a women calling named Brittany Allen

I had the same thing happened so this is fake?I had to changed my card today and everything
