Hangs up when answering machine comes on. Calls often

keeps calling but leaves no message. getting tired of them calling.

Calls almost every day; sometimes twice a day.  Hangs up before answering machine picks up and doesn't leave message.  Driving me nuts!

calls everyday now. Not a robo call, a person but they leave no message and when you pickup they hang up. Annoying

Cancer scammer. Called daily numerous times but I didn't pick up an unrecognized number. Today they woke me up from a nap and I didn't check the caller I.D. before answering. They ask for me by name, somebody is selling your name and phone number to these people.

This number comes up as Unavailable on my caller ID and has called me many times.  I don't typically answer these types of calls, but have forwarded my landline to my cell phone when I'm not at my house for a couple important reasons.  I can't always see the caller ID on my cell phone, especially in sunlight.  I am selling my house so it's hard to ignore calls.  I picked one up from this number this morning and didn't know what was going on.  A live person came on asking for what I can only assume was my late husband by his first name.  Because he's been dead for ten years now and his name is not on anything related to the house (deed, mortgage, etc.) or any of the bills anymore, there's no reason for anyone to be calling here asking for him who couldn't talk to me so when I immediately asked, "X, who?"  (not wanting to divulge my late husband's name here), the caller just repeated "Could he speak to X", which went back and forth the same way in the same very strange tone a couple times until I switched it up and finally said "There is no X here, what is this in reference to?"  With that, he got snippy and said "I'm sorry to have bothered you." and he hung up.  For a few years after my husband died I got calls from recruiters looking to hire him for jobs because he had great tech skills, but those fell off five years ago, as well as inquiries from anyone who didn't know he died.  Now I'm thinking for my own safety, I should have just told this creep that he was at work or not home instead of not at this number.  Oh well.  Scammers--why can't they get a real job?

Another (855) number used by American Institute for Cancer Research.  They call my house twice a day from different numbers so they are hard to block.  One number had the CID of "Anonymous."  Most of the time they won't answer if you pick-up because they are robo-dialing so many numbers.  Any alleged "charity" calling as aggressively as a bill collector is not helping anyone buy themselves.
