called home phone in oregon, caller id said "out of area"  no message left

Call was ignored due to unfamiliar number. No message.

this number called me & hung up. First call of the day on my pay as you go cell, so it cost me $2.00. makes me want learn how to spoof my cid and call them back & run their bill up.

I don't know if it would work for your pay as you go, but for many carriers, it is *67 then dial the number.

Keep getting calls from (855) 320-4670 claiming to be Frontier Communications & wanting me to upgrade my package.

I have talked to 3 different "reps" & told ALL of them "Not interested.  Stop calling."  And yet, the calls keep rolling in.

If this TRULY was Frontier, I think my service provider would abide by my wishes & stop harassing me. . . . just on the chance I get pissed off & switch my carrier.  But maybe that's the whole point.

I don't believe it is Frontier.  I think it's a bait-&-switcheroo.  Don't fall for this trick.

Received 2 calls already today; no idea who - the caller hangs up.

Said they were Verizon. I told them I'm on the DoNotCall List and they said they are my provider. Told them it was a "sales call" and they had no right to be calling me for that. They hung up.

keeps calling said they are frontier communication,i advised them to stop calling or i would rip the phone lines off the house and cancel my home phone,said it would take 6 weeks to remove my name and number

The caller said they were from Frontier and wanted to see if they could offer me a better deal than what I was currently getting through them.  At first it sounded like a good deal but when they had to switch me to a 3rd party verifier I got suspicious especially after I was told I could only respond in "yes" or "no" responses. Anything other than that would disconnect the call and cancel the upgrade.  Also the guy continued to ask me if I put a block on my account so no one could switch services on me without my permission and when I told him yes, he was trying to get me to unblock it to which I refused.  I learned a long time ago to do that after my long distance phone carrier kept changing without my permission and of course the prices of my phone calls would sky rocket!

Needless to say I hung up the phone.  The guy called back directly after and connected me to the 3rd party verifier in which I promptly told them I was uncomfortable with the whole thing, and the call was disconnected.

I immediately called Frontier to inquire about this whole thing and found out that Frontier does not call their customers unless the customer requested it. I was told they do not call customers to try to find them a better deal either.  I was advised to ignore the phone call as it is a scam and to keep my block active on the account.  Thankfully my account wasn't tampered with and everything is still fine.

SECOND TIME TODAY AND RIGHT BEFORE 9PM  WOKE ME UP  GRRRR  NO MESSAGE AND I DIDNT ANSWER   BOY THE TMS ARE COMING FAST AND FURIOUS THE LAST COUPLE DAY  FROM ALL OVER
