keep calling and asking for someone.

Called before 9 am!!! and I did not answer.  It is a debt collector, and I have no past due bills.

This company has called me 5 times.    I don't have any bad debts either.   Initially they told me I had a problem with an AMX card, and I knew that was not true.    This has to be a phishing scam.

By accident, I picked up the phone call from this number and had a conversation directly with them.  At first, she asked me correctly about my last name.  I said "Yes, I am".  Then, she required me to verify my last 4 digits SSN and my year of birthday. I asked her back "Who is calling me?", "Where's the phone call from?", and "For what...?".   She told me her company is United Recovery Systems, and need to verify to see that I am the right person before she provide me the purpose and information that she is calling me.
When I told her my last 4 digits SSN and my year of birthday, she said I am not the right person(!?!?).
I asked her to repeat the full name of the person she wanted to talk.  The last name is correctly mine, but the first name is different.  I said no one in my family has that first name.  I also asked her for more information about her company and the purpose of calling.  She refused to provide me any information that I want to know, just told me that she is collection agency, and that's OK if I am not the one she wanted to talk.   I said it's OK for you, but not for me because you asked me about my personal information and now you refuse to answer my questions.   I told her "The full name of the person you are calling should be stated clearly before you ask about one's personal information".  
She apologized me and hang up quickly before I could complain anything else. I feel very uncomfortable now.

   

This is a scam. I wouldn't give them any info but they kept asking for my date of birth and when I said I didn't owe anything, the guy on the phone was very very frustrated with me for not giving my info. Please do not. This is a scan. They say they are united recovery systems. Check online for more info before you ever give your birthdate and social number to them.

This is a scam. I have blocked 4 of their numbers already. Do not send them anything. By law, there are rules they have to follow. Contact your debt companies direct if you feel you owe someone. SCAM!

Yes, I spoke to this guy and he claimed that I owed past due bills on a AMEX card that I already paid for in full about three months ago. He claimed their agency works directly with AMEX and tried to three way call and I declined because felt uncomfortable and if there are any other past due bills in sure AMEx would sent me mailing or emailed me directly.

harassment, no messages,  real scammers ,call twice/day, every days for months

Has constantly tried to contact me using various numbers. They say they're debt collectors and that I owe money on an amex card? I have never heard of such a card. There is also no way that they would have my number as my phone is a brand new phone with a brand new number that I have not issued to anyone yet. Yet I never got a call from them before on my old number. There is obviously something wrong here, so this is quite an obvious scam. Best advice, ignore them. If a company refuses to give you information regaurding them, but they ask for your personal information, they ae not legit.

Been called 13 times by this outfit. I do not answer unknown callers. This is harassment I of the elderly [me]!

I just found out this is a debt collector.  I have no debts.  They called before 9 a.m. this morning.  How do they get ones number.  I did not pickup.
