It is UPS, I just made a payment and then called the toll free number to verify

it is not UPS.

Recorded message claiming to be from UPS saying our UPS payment had been rejected.  They even had our UPS account number!  UPS says it's a bogus call - DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!  Call 1-800-pick ups instead!

It's possible, but since that post was from 2012, Alex has long gone to his reward.

Yes this company is fraudulent. They somehow had a decent little amount of info on my account which is why I fell for it. Do NOT give them your card information. I called UPS number from UPS.com and they told me that number is not associated with UPS. I called my CC company right after and had the card cancelled when these scammers couldn't even give me an invoice number for invoice I supposedly owed and then they wouldn't be able to send me a confirmation receipt via email even though they had that too. Real UPS would have definitely been able to tell me the invoice number and email receipt if needed.
