I've been getting calls from this number twice/day for the past week. They don't leave a message, there is no ID on the number. Can't find any information on who this is.

Same as previous person said. They didn't leave message or say anything but just held the phone.

This number has called our business twice today, wanting to speak with the owner in reference to the merchant account.  However, once I questioned them if they were OUR provider for merchant services he hung up. LOL
All you have to do is keep questioning them, and they will stop calling.

I don't know who it is either ... but they keep calling my office number and never leave a message.  That's better than the junk recorded messages from others, I suppose.  Thank you for the hint that if we quiz them too much, they'll stop calling.

I get a call everyday and no one is on the line.  Very Annoying.

Got a call all I heard was someone in the back ground say "what the F_____" a giggle in the phone and then a hang-up.  From now on I will answer this number in the same way.

I called this number back and the auto-attendant identified the company as AppStar.  I was presented with simple instructions for removing my phone number from their calling list.  All I had to do was input my phone number and hit #.  I haven't received a phone call from them since.  I have to admit that I was a little surprised that it worked.  I guess maybe they are at least somewhat legit.

I got a guy who said "yeah, you like it" then hung up. It was weird

I just did this, too.  Hope it works.

Just answer "_____________ County Sheriff's Dept"..... They will hang up and the calls will stop.

received call from this no. I do not pick up from "toll free" numbers.. Then found this blog site.  Thanks for the warnings.. another annoyance of this 'instant' communication era!!  If you have 'call block' feature I recommend using it. I have blocked 30 numbers (max limit).  But the callers  change their numbers and you need to delete old ones to add more to the block list..

Every day I received several calls from this number and never leave a voice message .. just bothring.

I have asked God to bless these callers just as they have blessed those they call.  Can you feel the love? Amen.

I received today a call from this number, somebody told me about if I the owner, I said yes , but I now very scary about it because told me that tomorrow she will call me again 11 am

Repeated calls from this number to my office and only silence on the other end no matter what I ask or say.  With the opt out option lists and all the technology that exists today, WHY must we be subject to such annoyances with no easy recourse???  The burden should be on the telemarketer NOT the unwilling recipient!!
