Calls from 9 am on. Even on the weekends. They leave message "if you would like to make a call hang up and try again". I am not calling them, they are calling me. I am really getting tired of them bothering me even though I am on the do not call list.

We are also getting annoying calls from this phone number.  When called back, it just rings on and on and on...never answering.  Who is this?

As all seem to say, continual calls, no messages, all hours from 9am on, every day!  Someone should be able to find out who it is, and have it stopped

I ACTUALLY GOT A PERSON! First time in the last two weeks since they've been calling. They (Claim) to be from the Leukemia Society. She said they're asking us to help out by sending three letters to my neighbors for a drive on behalf of the society. This is most likely a scam. Anyone can claim to be from a society. So, if you decide to help them out. Instead of returning the money & envelopes to whatever address they have down, I would send it directly to the Leukemia Society's online address which is:

So, I just thought I'd update you. I called the Leukemia Society's direct number and this IS A LEGITIMATE CAMPAIGN they're running. Just thought ya'll might wanna know that too.

I am tired of my 86 year old mother getting these calls.  Please stop.

I got a call from this number, an another number with the 855 code. Who is it? It kinda annoying, considering they keep calling my iPod app. I can't even answer!

Leukemia Society is only hurting themselves and victims of the disease.  I won't contribute after repeated calls and especially those Sat calls.  They don't even wait till after 9 any more.

So, We have VOIP (voice over IP) for our phone now.  WE are able to block phone numbers from calling us.  Greatest thing we've done.

The legislation establishing the Do Not Call List exempts charities and (of course) political organizations from having to use the list.

Wouldn't it be nice, being that it is apparently a legitimate number, if the people would respond when you answer the call or pick up the call when you call them back?  It should show in caller ID as a fundraiser rather than "private name".  This is complete and utter b.s. and foundations that back these telemarketers should have the numbers of all telemarketers listed so we can opt to have them stop calling.  

However, if the Government can't even accomplish it's purpose with the "No Call" registry, I don't know why I expect anyone to be able to monitor all these calls.  There is something seriously wrong with all this modern technology, it's access to us and the inability for anyone to be able to stop the harrassment.

What gives these people the right to constantly harass us with their annoying calls - when they can even leave a message.  Who can we, the consumers, report these IDIOTS to to make them stop these ANNOYING CALLS?  I am so feed up with these JERKS - it is unreal. AND why are they so afraid to put their ID on the phone readouts?  Maybe even give us a person's, or company's name?

probably the simplest and maybe only thing to protect ourselves from these calls is to get/use the call block feature on our phones since we can't count on the govt do not call list

Just got a call from this number, silence on the other end since I didn't say anything. It is a common characteristic of an auto dialer; once voice is detected the call is routed to a telemarketer.

8;30 nuisance calls are disgusting and dangerous for the elderly.

Just got an 8:15 call from this number!!!!!! I get to sleep on Saturday mornings, but not any more!!! I called the number back to give someone hell and got a rapid busy signal. Can't even contact anyone to tell them they are ruining my life!!! What, if any, course of action can a person take?

They called at 9:08 AM today (Saturday).  I am fighting back.  I have a new T Lock Call Blocker that can block up to 1200 numbers.  My Panasonic phone can block 20 numbers but that is a joke considering the number of calls we receive every week.  They will not be bothering me again.
