- wisconsin| 7 replies855-434-8077 called on 4/9/2012 at noon
and they also called me two days ago and left me a voicemail Monday at 10am.
Both times they called my house, and when I did not answer, they immediately robo dialed my cellphone.
I don't give my phone number out to many places, so my guess is somebody I very recently did business with sold my information. I am speculating it to be one of the following: time warner cable, at&t, dish network, american family insurance, or my mortgage company. I am in the process of selling my house and buying another had to contact these companies, These calls came swiftly came following calling these places last week.
They have also been leaving voicemails that say something along the following:
"This is All Clear ID calling with an important alert about your credit file, to activate your phone and hear the details of this alert, please call customer service at 877-403-0240 your identity is all clear, thank you for staying safe with all clear id, good bye"- Caller: All Clear ID formerly Debix

- Robodude replies to wisconsin| 1 replyI got the same message today, @#$%@@$#. Blocking number, there is nothing we can do to prevent this type of humans praying on our credit vigilance. I now screen almost all of my unknown calls and block the scrupulous ones, no FCC do not not call directory is helping and no personal data management is helping, no matter how careful. They will sell our information for a buck, no matter what.
- J Larsen replies to wisconsinI just got this ROBO call, the only business places we have (had) in common is AT&T.
My cable company is Charter Communications, I have no mortgage.
The recording was some babble about my personal information was secure... !! Obviously not.
I noticed a huge increase in robo calls and SPAM since Facebook released all our personal info without asking.. I wiped my account clean and left Facebook. - KJ| 3 repliesThese guys are legit...
As part of a class action suit settlement, I received a free multi-year account with Debix which later became AllClear ID (which is why I didn't initially recognize the name). In addition to monthly newsletters, I receive both an e-mail and voice-mail when something on my credit report changes.- Caller: AllClear ID

- R. AriasI received a call from this number on my cell phone.
- Caller: unknown
- PM replies to KJAgree with KJ... they are actually legit.
- VMK| 1 replyYes I also agree with KJ. Due to a computer break-in at a company I deal with, I was given a one year free membership from Debix, which in the middle of this year changed name to AllClear ID. They are a watch dog company, that when they see if you get checked on in any way, from someone checking your credit, or a security problem with any company you register with them. AllClear ID calls, emails you or mails you, whatever way you set up with them. But they will contact you to notify you whenever anyone checks on you or does some wrong thing that uses your name, SS# or any of your credit cards, in a way not normal. They are only advising you, so that if it was not you, then you can report it right away. I am not their sales person, I am sure they explain it so much better. But yes they are legit. I understand from someone else I know, who got two years free from a class action suit like KJ mentioned. They have been good this year for me, you can even get free credit reports from them while a member. I am not going to renew and pay my own, but I take the free year offer, worked out very well, I still have a month or two before it ends.

- LK California replies to VMKDelt with AT&T yesterday afternoon and got the calls this morning. First to my business phone then to my cell!
- Edie replies to KJSame with me. I was given a free year of Debix when my healthcare network was compromised. It mainly means (hopefully for most) that someone recently checked your credit score. If you did notice any financial problems recently, call them right back.
- Delbrag| 1 replyI just got a call from All Clear ID on my cell phone, they bought out Debix the ID security firm. I got a year's worth of free ID security from my bank with Debix which is now All Clear ID. I set up a phone waring if somebody was trying to use my identification, and so far I have had only two (2) calls from ACID in the last three months. But since I don't/didn't have Debix listed in my cell, I don't answer the phone number, or ANY phone number I don't reconize or isn't announced by my phone.
To me they are not a nusanceat all, so far, but when I have to start paying for my identity protection I probably will not continue with them; because tines are tough right now and I'm usually very careful about lables with my name etc. JMHO Have a great day, Del- Caller: NA
- JulieThey are legit. I am enrolled with them due to credit fraud from the past and they just called my cell to check on me because I had recently opened a new credit card. I'd forgotten the name/number of the agency and so googled it as well and now I realize who it was and why they were calling. They are accredited by the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating and are not spamming you -

- MaryBI ignored this call which came first to my cell phone, then to my home phone. Later that evening, I listened to the recorded msg and realized I heard my own voice on a recording. This made me look into it. All Clear ID is actually the new name for Debix, which is a credit monitoring system. After finding my records regarding how to access the information, I found they were alerting me about a recent credit transaction and needed my response as to whether it was a legitimate transaction. They had also sent me an email, but it was in my Spam folder.

- BJCarle| 1 replyI subscribe to All Clear ID for identity and credit protection. When they call me it's because there has been some action within my credit area which they are trying to confirm was initiated by me. I like this company and the care they take with their clients.

- Russ replies to BJCarleI agree, this is All-ClearID confirming activity on your credit report. Very legit service and works well if you set it up correctly. You will enter your PIN and hear a recording of your own voice that you set up. They will then ask you to confirm if you know the recent activity (i.e a certain bank or lender). You confirm and they will stop calling. If you don't answer, they try any other numbers you have set up. I was set up with a subscription due to a potential compromise of data records and a former employer.

This is HOME DEPOT's credit monitoring company ........AFTER HOME DEPOT gave the hackers my personal credit card numbers, birthdate, SS#, address, phone number. mother maiden name etc.....HOME DEPOT really suks!!!!- Caller: All-ClearID
- SalesGal 82The number is legit. As previously stated, Home Depot provided a year of free AllClearID credit monitoring service to those of us whose credit card accounts were breached in the last go-round at Home Depot. AllClear is on top of it: I opened a new retail store credit card account and within two weeks they called to confirm if it was me. I wish they had called within days of opening the account (since lots of charges could have been racked up in two weeks), but at least they called. When I called them back they asked me to record my name, a passphrase and 4 digit passcode. All so I could confirm it was them when they called next time. All legit.

- Lemuel C Bray replies to RobodudeThe correct number for support@allclearid.com is 855-434-8077. I understand that all toll free numbers to All Clear ID begin with 855.
I received an email from them because I had opened a new credit card and they wanted to check if it was really me. I have a 1 year free subscription to them from the Home Depot security breach. The email was legit. I called the number 1-855-252-0908 which was on my authorization to set up my free year to check that the number was legitimate after reading these posts and the claims that it wasn't.
Both numbers are legitimate and can be checked through the All Clear ID website. - MikeThis is all clear ID. I got one year of credit monitoring with them because of the Home Depot hack. The were calling to alert me of a new credit inquiry that I initiated.
- Caller: All clear ID
- JimThey're legit. They are the nations number one rated credit monitoring services. Anyone who's personal information may have been compromised through the Home Depot credit breach received one year free credit monitoring service through AllClear ID courtesy of Home Depot
- Caller: AllClear ID Alert Network

- Marque| 1 replyIf you shopped at Home Depot, where their financial information got hacked, you got automatically enrolled in this credit watch company. If they are calling, like they just did me, they detect a new credit being entered in your name. In the case of the last post, it was because they were financing a home; in my case it was because I actually did just open a new credit card.
