Some bogus guy named Santoni calls saying he's a independent person hired by AMG to deliver a secure letter.  Provides a claim # and 855 phone number. Blah blah blah

855-436-9114. Same call except it was an April or Amber Jackson who left the voicemail stateing they are from Cox Services NFR. I then called and when answered they gave AMG associates?. I gave them the claim# and Mr Santoni was who they sent me to. They had the wrong SS# and phone#  and when I said they were not even close and refused to give them my info, he hung up!

This is a TOTAL SCAM!

I received that same call from AMG saying i was committing fraud for not paying a bill over 4 years ago

A while back I got a call from a company (cannot remember now, ACS or something).They called friends and family and told them that if I did not contact their office I would be charged with fraud. I called the company, upset that they were calling my family and telling them things like this. They told me I had to pay this and this by this date and all that crap. I fell for it. I did owe money from an old pay day loan and decided whatever, I would get it taken care of. It was a scam!!!

Now, almost a year later I am getting the calls from 855-436-9114. They are all worded the same, calling the same people...everything! It is a scam. I wish I would have learned that before I paid the one last year. They are telling me that they are delivering papers and if I don't cooperate I will go to federal prison for fraud. Honestly, what process server tells you before hand that they are delivering papers...it pretty much defeats the purpose. Plus I have been taken to court for judgements before and a police officer has always delivered the papers. I talked to my local sheriff and let him know what was going on and had him listen to the message. He said for anyone that gets a message about meeting for papers, tell them you will meet them at your local police station. DO NOT give them your address! I did that a week ago and have no longer gotten any calls from this company.

They make idle threats tell them [***]! to come to you job I guarantee they won't show up they told me they were coming weeks ago Please! Im not scared I told them to come. I know my rights, I know they proper way to collect on a debt throught the court system. So I either don't answer my phone or if they happen to call my phone when I am on the long route home from work. I talk to them to entertain myself... i tell them oh yeah Im on my way home now be there...ofcourse they hang up because it is all false they are stupid call them on it!

Do not give these people your money nor allow them to convince you that you owe them.  Basically the original creditor sold your account to these creeps but really they cannot collect on it..Next thing you know you pay them and they still call.. Foolishness ignore them trust me..or move forward which will be the biggest mistake...check your credit report if you owed them it would be there but it is not because guess what you don't owe them and don't have to pay them money..

I just got a call yesterday from Jan, Fraud Supervisor..  She was polite, however, I asked for a Debt verification on her voicemail and gave my e-mail address, later that day, I received a settlement letter with a payment I AGREED ON? I dont think so.. I do like the letterhead AMG & Associates.. almost looks professional.
