Can anybody tell me anything about this company.  My girlfriend received a call from them. They claim to be CC Services.  What exactly do they do?  Are they legit?

My sister got a call from this number.  The caller had the last 4 digits of her SS number and asked her to verify the rest.  My sister asked "who is this"  Caller replies, "Yolanda."  Sister asks, "who are you with?"  Caller:  GP Services.  Sister:  "I don't know who you are."  Yolanda still wants her to verify SS number.  Sister hangs up and calls me, asks me to do research.  I'm not finding much.  Sounds like phone phishing to me.

Got the same call (same number) today but they left a voicemail.  Called back on a blocked cell phone line.  No answer.  Probably a scam as suggested.

I got a call from this number which left a voice mail> "Hi Daddy its me, give me a call back at 855-446-2108" ... sounded like my daughter in college so i called back. A guy answers, I ask him if (my daughters name) is there... he says they are "looking for her". He asks me if i know where (my name) is.. I told him I was on the phone...he said I "was listed as her in case of emergency call."
I called my daughter... she had NOT called me. I told her to call the number but not to give them any information. SHe did and got back to me that they told her they were looking for ME!!!
Something is definitely wierd about this one!

"Hi Tom this is Danielle please call me back" was the voice mail left on my phone. This caller also called my 85 year old grand parents and knew their address but would not ID herself.This would have to be a really crafty company or the government to connect me to them and I don't like this at all.Also,my cellphone is not listed in my name and only people I know have the number.

STated they were calling for a reference for someone.  He wouldn't give me the company name, said the person they were calling about gave my husband as a reference.  Don't like the sound of this at all.

Called back,  "Amanda" wanted info about a former employee-gave them nothing!! The other guy's name is Devon Ossborn.  Told me that he couldn't devulge info about the company due to privacy rights-I told him, well, under privacy rights, neither can I!

GC Services is a Tennessee based company that collects Financial Aid loans by contacting each and every person you've ever been connected to.

This is a sneaky (as usual) collection company looking for you to repay a student loan & pocket a hefty commission in the process. That's how they know the last 4 digits of your S.S.#. They call every relative you have, including your elderly grandparents & harass them with lies. If you're looking to make payments, contact the Federal Student Loan Program directly & tell them you will only deal with THEM. Your state politicians can also assist you in getting these slimy folk off your back, especially if your income is limited, you're disabled and/or on S.S.I.

This person named "Holly" called my home phone and my cell phone looking for my ex-husband of almost 20 years!!! She left a message so I tried to call to have my info erased from her files and was on hold almost 20 minutes with no luck. I am able to block the number on my i-phone, but not my home phone. I have no idea who she is although I suspect it is because he owes almost $80000 in student loans. I just want them to leave me alone!

I have been holding for over an hour at this number!  They called and left a message for the person that had my phone number before me and I want them to take my number off her account.  I've been getting this woman's bill collector calls for 3 years now!

They also run browser hijacking sites.  They will lock your browser, telling you that your computer is compromised, and they will unlock it for you if you call 1-855-446-2808.  Of course, you can simply kill your browser through task manager, but not everyone knows that.
