Received a call at my job from a person named RON JONES (think that's what he said) saying that he was calling from the County Legal Office and that I was being put on schedule to be served papers either at my home or job.....in 3-5 days.
So I did a search and found that this # is located somewhere in Greenville County South Carolina.

Now I live here in NJ, what is somebody doing calling me from SC?  I have no idea what this is for and of course they don't give the name of their company.

I received a called from the same person telling me the same story.

Same as the story above, he doesn't specify the county but claims he's scheduling a serving of legal documents yet he refers to the papers as "certified notice of intent regarding a pending legal claim."  The number comes from restricted on my caller ID but this is the number that he lists as the "claimant."  Don't let these scumbags harass you; know the law, know your rights.  This seems illegal.

Same here in Michigan.  This is a payday loan collector.  Their tactics are illegal. I changed my phone number.  

Hey I received the same phone calls put some one calls private and give u a  claim number and a number to call someone do u think this is a scam

I got the same call. Domt know what its about, but i know they dont call you if tbey are gonna serve you papers,im sure its against the law.

Recieved the exact same call today, from Ron Jones, stating that I will recieved papers at home or my employer in 3-5 days, and I was a crook, I was like really, I said well I will call you back, I am seeking an Attorney for them.

Tried to look this number up and it comes back as invalid

just called this number back, the person at the other end would NOT, give his name, address or anything, Im getting in touch with atty. to see what can be done. It is against the law,

Got a call from our friend Mr. Jones today from the "County Prosecutor's office". He called previously with the same threat tactics about being put on his schedule. I followed up before and its a debt collector. Don't be fooled by him trying to sound "legal". Its anything but.

Received same call today from a Ron Jones, saying I will be served papers to sign tomorrow between 12-5pm. Really don't know what this is all about. Tired of the unnecessary drama.
