Get these calls but no one ever leaves a message, annoying!

I get calls from this number numerous times a day on my cell phone and nobody ever leaves a message!!!

Call is from Bay Area Credit Services, a junk debt collector.  Caller said his name is Tom Benedict, but call center is known to be in India.  They asked for someone I don't know, I told him they had the wrong number, still getting calls.  Reporting this number to the FTC, repeated calls violate federal law.

If you G**gle this phone number you will find a wealth of information about them, Bay Area Credit Services.  They have called me several times asking for someone that has never lived with me nor has any connection with my phone number.  I have asked them to stop calling or they would be reported.  Received a call after that with no message.  It is my understanding that if a collector calls you more than one time after you advised them not to then they are in violation of at least federal law.  Consumers fight back!

received calls from this number three times this week. I ignore.  They dont leave a message.  this is on my cell phone too.

Just got a call from them, didn't answer.  No message.  This is the first time, glad I looked it up on here so I know not to answer!  Thanks people!

just got a call from this number on my cell phone & after saying hello twice they hung up with no response. don't know who it could be, I don't owe anyone any money so s creditor isn't possible.  HMMMMM??????

I received a phone call from this number (855-515-3445) to my CELL PHONE (which by the way, I am on the national DO NOT CALL registry). I answered the call, said hello three times with no response.  I could clearly hear talking in the background then the person hung up. IRRITATING to say the least. They'd best not call me again.

They called me at least once a day for months, even on Christmas Eve.  After somehow tracking my Mother down at the Memory Care Unit where she lives due to dementia, I called them to tell them to leave her alone. A guy with a heavy accent who disconnected the call after his attempt to argue with me didn't work.  He kept asking me who her Power of Attorney is, and refused to say why they kept calling, and would only tell me if I sent them a copy of a Power of Attorney.  As if I'm going to send any Joe Blow legal documents regarding family business. They keep calling but won't say why?  What's the point then?! I submitted a complaint to the FTC, the calls stopped for about two months.  They just started again tonight.  I'll have to submit another complaint.

Just when I got done submitting a report at this website, Bay Area Credit Services called again.  Twice within 1/2 hour - and again, no message.

have received 11 phone calls from them in the last two months - I finally blocked the number so it doesn't ring on my phones - there was never anyone there and no way to call back as it shows up as a non-existent number - I've heard it might be Bay Area Credit and if that is the case here is the information on that company,  They are obviously using a "virtual" number to hide their real identification.

I have been receiving calls from this number (855-515-3445) on my cell phone 2 to 3 times a day, morning, afternoon, and evening.  From postings on this site, it seems that reporting them to the FTC does not work.  Does anybody know a more effective way to stop them?  For now, I press Ignore or don't answer, but it is annoying!

P.S.:  They keep asking for the same person unknown to me.

I get many of these types of calls regarding my 94 year old uncle.  I ask what this is about....and they say it is a personal matter.  I say:  You mean he has rights to privacy?...Yes!  I say; "Well I'd love to help you with any information  BUT his rights include me not sharing'" "Have a great day and don't call back because you'll be talking to me again."

I am glad I found this here. I have been getting calls from this # for about a week now every day, at least 1 time;sometimes three...I wonder what we can do to stop them?

SCAMMER ALERT! This comes back on Google as Bay Area Credit Services, but this person calls, hangs up, leaves no message and has one of those phone recordings on his line to make it sound like it's disconnected/out of order. If he/she/it cannot state their business in an up-front manner, I'm not talking to them. What kind of business does this sort of thing? A shady one to say the least.
