Received a call from someone (with a non-listed number) saying they were trying to contact me  as a reference for someone that  I briefly knew some time ago (who I have never authorized to use me as a reference)  as they were in legal trouble. They gave their full name but no company name and then said this person had me as a reference and that "it was in the other person's interest" that I  contact them if I knew her whereabouts/location  so they could contact her as she was in legal trouble. They referenced a "claim number" as a six digit number (i.e. 145-568 example) and referenced a number 855-557-5405 to call if I had any information and also an extension number .This happened before and I am guessing that it is a debt collector as from what I remember as this person who I knew was financially struggling. They did not say they were a debt collector which automatically makes me think that they are using me to get to this person to collect on unpaid debts she owes. I'm thinking she probably used my number cause she'd  think  I'd  never give out any information even though I don't know where she lives nor have any phone number of hers.

These people are thieves. They are a fake law firm. They go by Capital Management Services, Capital management litigation firm. They are making threats to sue on out of stat debt. They tried to tell me they were going to have me arrested. I paid this debt off almost two years ago. I tracked down the rightful owner of the the account by starting at the payday loan office. Any way thought you should all know these guys are completely full of crap. The are trying to collect on paid accounts.
