People calling continually..will not give information on case but keeps harassing.

received a call from a "whithheld" number. That is suspecious in itself. The message said "this is Dean Flectcher of LLD and Im calling about a court case that is to be filled in _____country. Please use reference number #### when calling to settle, before the case is filed with the county."
Well, first of all, he never said what case nor have I ever received anything in writing to validate his statement.

I have read many other postings of people receiving the same type of phone call and theyve called the number that is left and usually receive a recording. A few have spoken with a live person. Some have been told various stories, that they are a debt collectors, charity organizations, etc.

So beware of this scammer.

Ok, I got a call from an unknown number.  I answered the call and a young gentleman gave me a number to call 855-630-9823 and a 4 digit RFN.  He had asked if I had received my summons from a uniformed officer (i have not).  I was directed to contact this number so I did.  The lady stated that I was being summons to go to court on a past cc collection bill and they will stop the summons for half the price of what they said the bill was BUT I only had 24 hours to pay that or procedures will go forth and I would have to go to court, that is all the info she had. Not having the money to set anything up she said she would forfeit the offer and proceed.  SO I guess I will wait to see if I get summons... If I do, off to court I go to set payments up!

I actually spoke to someone that said that would proceed to a litigation summons being delivered by uniform officer to appear in court because I would not give a debit card to process $1000 settlement within 24 hours!

The company is called LLDE based in Clearwater, FL. based on the information this seems more like a scam than anything else. I have gone to the FL Department of State Division of Corporations site at http://www.sunbiz.org/ and found the company listed under Fictitious Names

Need to speak with you before charges are filed in Somerset County against you.  Then called my job and told my boss that I needed to call to set up a time of conveince to get the sheriff to issue a summons for court because I had to go to court.

The original call was from someone claiming to be a process server for an unpaid bill from several years ago. I was told that I could arrange to make payment so that I would not have to appear in court with all the additional costs that would be incurred. I was then transferred to a lady who told me what the payments would have to be and would have to be paid in two payments, one on that Friday and the  other on the following Friday (today) otherwise the deal would be off and they would proceed with the summons. A form was emailed to me to be signed and returned to them which I was unable to open. I sent an email stating that and was told that the form would be mailed to me and I could mail it back. Today a week and a half later, still no form. We shall see.

I have gotten several harrassing calls from a "private" number, w/ message to call 855-630-9823 w/ case ****, after several attempts to reach them, I decided to look on the internet not having any idea what these people were doing.  I pay my bills and couldn't imagine what this was for.  I too was "Threatened" with a uniformed officer serving me papers if I did not call back with in 2 hrs of their call.   Well, I have the police drive by my house daily and I have a good friend that is a dispatcher, so IF it was legite they know exactly where to find me.   I have had hard times in the past and I felt something wasn't right w/ how they were handling things.   This needs to stop!!!!   A debt collector has to give some specifics, I also knew something was wrong as he didn't have my county correct!!!!     Has ANYONE had any thing come of these calls to be valid besides scamming and harrassment???
